Chapter 1
"Don't let this fag go.."
Heavy panting breaths reverberate through the empty corridors. Lee Felix traced his fingers over the rough wall to give himself support. No, he couldn't do it anymore, his legs were already numb, throat dry whilst his whole body was trembling in fear.
They found out, The whole school found out the thing which he had manifested to never come out to anyone. He could do nothing now, but why did these boys get so offended, it's not their problem though. It was just their excuse to bully Felix.
He didn't know what to do, cry out?
He got cautious when he heard an echo of footsteps. Felix's heart started pounding tremendously, while he felt his breath stuck on his dry throat. No he wasn't ready to encounter them, at least not yet.
He motioned his hand to wipe off the dripping sweat from his forehead. The more he tried to relax, The more he felt the steps coming closer. He could hear his heartbeat along with the person's footsteps. Wait, the footsteps seemed like only one person but, didn't they have a whole gang?
Felix's back completely hit the wall, he shut his eyes when he felt the person was almost in front of him.
"Hey, bro.."
A familiar voice struck on his ears, it wasn't that bullies gang but someone else. Still he wasn't fully relieved it seemed like everyone in school turned into his enemy after knowing his truth that he is a gay.
"What happened? Why are you so afraid?", He could hear the concern in the person's voice but still didn't have the courage to open his eyelids. "Felix.. Felix.."
"P-please don't do anything to me", A cracked voice escaped through his throat. The strands of hair stuck on the forehead due to sweat.
"Hey, don't have to be scared, I'm not gonna do anything, trust me hmm..", the person soothingly assured him. Felix felt his arms gently held by someone, giving a comforting touch and reassuring words that there was no harm for him.
Felix slowly tried to stretch up his eyes which were soaked by tears. He gasp of relief escaped when he saw his crush, Hyunjin was one who had been holding him. The assuring, soothing words were coming from the person.
Felix's pretty chocolate brown orbs find its way to Hyunjin's dark brown cat eyes. When their gauze met Felix felt like time had stopped, and his heart started to thump inside his ribcage like it would break it at any time.
"Take a breath hmm", Hyunjin said, holding black haired arms firmly yet softly stroking it, while trying to calm the alarmed man. Felix tried to do as instructed, he took a deep breath whenever Hyunjin inhaled, following him.
As Felix felt a little bit calm, a deep sigh escaped from Hyunjin. It was shocking, how Hyunjin was such a comforting person. Cause he was considered as the school's biggest nerd yet everyone was scared of him. It's just his personality, everyone thinks he is a stupid, he indeed is though. Meanwhile Felix used to be a good and smart student till his life changed.
His night changes from the peaceful and fairytale dreams to dark and scary nightmares. In his perspective the reality is the scariest nightmare.
Voices started to ring in his mind. The voices who helped him to escape from reality then pushed him to even scary and agonising nightmares. Never ceased to tell that he is useless that was what other people also said.
But it was different in different moments. He himself had no idea what those voices were about, who were they?
"See, trembling like a kiddo, you are indeed useless, Felix"
"I also agree"
"If I was him I would be already suicide"
"Yaa, he is so frightful"
"Useless"
"No,no, no"
"Felix, Felix are you hearing Felix"
"Huh?", Felix shook his head whilst his pupils were still vibrating inside the white pond. He eventually came back to reality when Hyunjin shook him a little forcely and called him loudly.
Felix was processing what just happened, what happened to him, who they shouting on his years, reminding him of the thing which he already knows that he is a useless and shitty person.
"Are you there? Felix, talk to me, tell me what happened?"
"I'm good, I-I'm good", Felix shook his head trying to convince the older that he is alright. He released himself from Hyunjin's grasp. Numbly, lifting his head to look at the taller male.
"No need to worry hmm.. I'm good."
He could see the worry on Hyunjin's eyes which made him happy.
"Hey, there he is..", the voices of bullies echoed through the corridor which made Felix's eyes wide. Again his mind began to go blank. He couldn't process anything he wanted to save himself. Save himself from the cruelty of that merciless boys.
He couldn't think further with his disturbed mind so all he could do was pull Hyunjin closer to him by his nape.
And their lips collided.
