Your father is the leader of the biggest mafia in all of Seoul. As his daughter and only heir, it is on you to eventually take over. You have had to be twice as ruthless as any man and gained the loyalty of your members. It's everyone else who seems to be the problem. Yoongi has never given two shits about the family business. Sure, he's killed people but only on orders. Going to your office was just another job. Yet when he leaves, it is with more than he bargained for. This is a work of fiction. 1-Everyday Work

Another day, another idiotic man I have to deal with.

“That guy’s an asshole. Don’t let what he said get to you.” Hoseok said as we walked up from the garage.

“I don’t. Not anymore. Now they just make me work harder.”

“That’s great but remember to rest too. Or else you’ll make me worry.” He said causing me to roll my eyes at him. Hoseok has been my best friend since elementary school. His father was a member of my father’s inner circle and not an egotistical idiot so that made him friendship material. Hoseok was the happiness that I couldn’t show yet needed in my life. He also understood why I behaved the way I did, standing at my side instead of trying to change me. Loyalty ran through him, and I knew he would have my back. I appreciated that he worried about me, but it wasn’t necessary. This was my life, and I was fine with it.

“Ma’am, your father needs you in the interrogation room.” A man said rushing towards us and bowing quickly.

“Understood,” I said with a head nod, dismissing him. “Hoseok take care of the car. Make sure to check for any bullet holes and get them fixed. I don’t think they hit us though, their aim was horrible.”

“Got it.”

“Oh and try to see if anything could be done about the smell. I think JK ate in the car again.” I added before turning to the basement. Everyone spoke of the cold down here, but I never felt it. Of course, I don’t feel much. There were men down there who pointed me in the direction of the interrogation room that my father was using.

“You called for me Appa?” I said with a small bow.

“Seriously Kim? Your daughter? You can’t get the information, so you call this girl to do it?” A man spoke with a smirk. “What is she going to do? Do you want me to watch K-dramas? Rank her favorite K-pop groups? Too bad you don’t have a son, then you would have a fighting chance.” A fire burned in my eyes at his words, and I clenched my fists.

“What do you need and how far can I go?” I spoke with murder in my voice. The man leaned back in shock. My father chuckled before answering me.

“Our guest knows where the Shins are keeping their stockpile of drugs. After his disrespect towards you, I believe he needs to learn his lesson. Do what you want as long as you get me the location.” He leaned against the wall waiting for my first strike. I walked over to the table with the tools. The man followed me with his eyes, waiting for my next move. I ran my hands over the different blades and tools, teasing him as he waited for me to choose. I picked up none of them walking towards him, handcuffed to the table.

“Before we get started,” I spoke calmly before bringing my fist back and punching him in the throat, “now we can begin.” My father smirked as the man coughed violently, trying to regain his breath. I sat across from him looking at a pen and clipboard with his information as if this was a job interview. “So, Pak is it? Any chance you want to make this easy on yourself and tell us what we want to know?”

“Go to hell.” He manages to speak roughly with hate in his eyes. That was my favorite moment. When they realized I wasn’t a joke.

“Not yet, I still have things to do,” I said with a smirk, twirling the pen in my hand. What he didn’t know was I had maybe four ways to kill him with this pen. Three for sure, just perfecting the last one. “The Shins are trying to sell drugs in our territory without paying the fee. We don’t appreciate disrespect around here which I’m sure you’ve finally figured out-”

“Stupid bitch!”

“Guess not.” I grabbed the back of his head and slammed it onto the metal table. Not enough to knock him out but he cried out in pain, nonetheless.

“Have fun, my daughter. I need to meet with Jung.” My father said as he left the room. I gave a small nod as I waited for the asshole to regain his focus on me.

I was going to enjoy this.

“The Shins are keeping their drugs in a container at this address, number 50595. Namjoon already hacked into their security system and is working on a plan to retrieve it. Plus, they have a new shipment coming in on Saturday at 1 am at the southern docks.” I told my father in his office later that evening. I had run into my cousin on the way to meet with my father. He didn’t even need his computer; he had managed to hack the system on his tablet before retreating to his room. “Oh, and we need the interrogation room cleaned.”

“Very good, sweetheart.” I turned around and saw my mother had walked in. I smiled before bowing. Only my mother could praise me as if I got a good grade on the test instead of torturing a man. She came closer and hugged me before kissing my father. Their story is so cute. She was a stripper when they met and caught my dad’s eye when he came in and saw her dance. He paid for a private dance and the rest is history. Well, at least all I wanted to know but my mom was clear she didn’t make it easy for him. While she is retired from performing, she now runs the club where she formally worked at. All above the books of course.

“I think you both have earned a night off. Let’s go have dinner.” She said with a smile. My father smiled back and kissed her hand.

“Sounds great. I just need to brief Y/N about a meeting tomorrow and then we will be right down.” He answered and she gave a small sigh.

“Fine but 20 minutes max. You understand?” She said which we both nodded to before she left.

“Who is the meeting with?” I asked.

“The Min group.”

“Seriously? What do they want?” I asked in disbelief. We have had small dealings with them but nothing major. They were maybe the closest in rank to our group but never competition.

“Min’s oldest son is trying to prove himself or some bullshit and wants to make a deal. He wants to be our new weapons supplier which would definitely put him in the good books with his father.” He explained handing me a file.

“Are you considering it? What about the Yagami’s?” I asked mentioning the Japanese mafia that supplied us now.

“It would be convenient to have a supplier nearby, but I’m not interested in making it exclusive.” He continued, “That is what the meeting is for. I want you to handle it. He will most likely push for an exclusive contract, but I know you will stand your ground. If he is willing to agree to our terms, then we’ll work with them.”

“And if not?”

“Then he can go cry to Daddy.”

“Got it. Which building are we meeting at?” I asked as he stood up.

“Your downtown office at 1 pm.”

“I just had the floor redone,” I complained causing him to laugh.

“Then don’t get any blood on it this time.”

“Hey, that was not my fault. That idiot Luke thought it was a good idea to grab my ass.” I countered walking with him to the dining room.

“I understand just don’t get blood on the floor. Maybe have Hoseok in the room. He seems to be good at reading your anger.”

“Yeah, yeah. I’ll have him and JK in the room. We won’t need any extra security. I doubt we’ll need more than the three of us. Even if things do go south.” I said as we joined my mom in the dining room. As if those two would let me meet another future mafia leader without them. I also know Namjoon will be keeping an eye on the security cameras at the same time. They were more like overprotective brothers than anything else. It didn’t matter that Namjoon, Hoseok, and I were the same age and Jungkook our junior.

“It wouldn’t matter how many they have with you and JK in the room.” My mom said when someone walked in.

“I don’t know if I should be offended by that,” Hoseok said as he stood in the entryway.

“I’m hoping with you in the room it won’t escalate to JK needing to get involved.” My father added.

“I’m taking that as a compliment,” JK said as he walked up behind Hoseok. He had a cocky smile as he leaned against the doorway. His arms crossed across his chest flexing his muscles and showing off his tattoos in one simple move.

“As you should handsome.” My mom said with a flirty smile. My dad chuckled when JK winked back. He was the only one who could get away with even a wink in my mom’s direction. At least after work hours. My dad once stabbed a guy in the eye for looking at her ass. An ass I was grateful to have inherited, to be honest.

“I need you both ready at 9 am so we can head over to my office. I’ll brief you then.” They nodded before sitting with us. “Where is Namjoon?”

“You know him. Once he starts on a job, he won’t stop until it’s perfect.” JK said as the staff began serving dinner. I frowned at this and turned to the staff.

“Make sure someone brings food to his room. Don’t just leave it at the door. I want confirmation that Namjoon accepted the food.” I said my voice leaving no room for disagreement. The staff quickly nodded before leaving. I saw Hoseok and JK smile at each other causing me to roll my eyes. “Shut it. He’s not useful if he doesn’t eat.”

“Whatever you say,” JK said as he began eating. Now it was my turn to smile.

“In that case, I need you in a suit tomorrow,” I said and he looked at me with a frown. JK hated wearing suits which we all knew.

“You can’t be serious.”

“It would be a shame to cover all those muscles.” My mom sighed as she scanned his arms, easily seen in his short-sleeved t-shirt. JK raised a hand as if this was a valid argument.

“We are meeting with the Min group. I need you both looking presentable.” I said, taking pleasure in his frown.

“With the father or son?” Hoseok asked. When I answered he let out a chuckle. “You haven’t met him, right? Do you think he will be smart enough to conclude you are in charge not me?”

“Bet you he doesn’t.”

“What are you going to be wearing then?” Jungkook interrupted, still upset about the suit.

“I was thinking of my leather pants and combat boots,” I answered, more to mess with him than anything. I had no clue what I was going to wear tomorrow. Most likely, have my mom or Hoseok pick something tonight.

“Then why do I need to wear a suit?” He tried to argue. Everyone laughed at our big muscle pig whining like a little kid. I couldn’t help but give him a small smile. I will always have a soft spot for Jungkook.

“Fine but at least a button-up shirt and decent pants, nothing with holes. Fair?” I offered and he quickly nodded. I reached over and ruffled his hair which made him give me his bunny smile. Before he could respond a staff member returned. My hand quickly grabbed my chopsticks and my smile dropped. I heard Hoseok sigh and noticed JK’s shoulders slump.

Back to business.

We have a Yoongi story!! Don’t worry, we meet him in the next chapter.
