My hero, The Angel.

There's an angel up there that shares my eyes.

I see him every time I look in the mirror.

There's an angel up there who's supposed to share a tattoo with me.

But he was gone before the inked needle could intertwine our stories further.

There's an angel up there who is loved by so many.

His death left an unfillable hole in countless lives.

There's an angel up there, and I call him my brother.

But he was so much more than just blood to me.

He was my best friend, my hero.

My big brother was always my biggest supporter.

The memories of the past hurt, but I keep torturing myself with them.

Bringing them up when the world is quiet, replaying his laugh inside my head.

They don't tell you that sometimes, grief wanes.

One minute you're fine, the next it silently creeps up on you.

Like a child sneaking a cookie before supper.

One minute you're fine, the next you're bawling your eyes out at a red light.

Cursing the radio stations for playing time of your life.

I hope you can breathe easily now.

1 hope Heaven is everything you've ever dreamed of.

You were one of those rare souls.

The kind that brought laughter and light to those around them.

The kind that made friends everywhere they went.

You touched so many lives, in just 26 short years.

I love vou. and I miss vou forever.
