"This is erotica with an excellent plot, strong characters with clear motives, excellent dialogue, real conflict yet emotional depth. A great take on enemies to lovers, and two main characters who are well fleshed out. I liked Kio and Mecca, both three-dimensional MCs who have chemistry and love to hate each other. I often laughed at the MCs banter, and their struggle to fight the attraction despite their contentious history. Their perspectives, thoughts, and feelings are not sentimental, nor do they meander, but are beautifully yet concisely presented. The sexual tension between them is *chef kisses* Only feedback: I suggest adding some descriptions of the different locations (the palaces, camps, forests, etc). Some scenes feel like a blank canvas. Other than that, this was the best spicy romantsy I've read on Inkitt so far."

"I think this is a great Romance novel example! Scarbound is a gem waiting to be discovered. The story feels very natural the MC’s attraction is so strong it makes it impossible not to laugh and giggle at their antics. Ren does a great job at conveying their thoughts and feelings and as a reader I can’t help but to be enthralled by all of it. This is a wonderful piece and I keep tuning in for new chapters. I can’t wait for Mecca and Kio to be together as the tension between them is so electrifying… but at the same time that tension is what keeps it spicy… For a enemies to lovers story I must say this is one of the most entertaining and riveting I have read in a long time! As far as grammar and technical aspects I think the story is very well redacted. Very little to none misspellings or grammatical errors that I could see. All in all I think this is novel is extremely well written. "

"I want more! This could be easily mass marketed! Kept me at the edge my seat in late night hours! It reads very fast and is like a regular enemies to lovers story but with more intensity. They both claim to hate each other, but the totally forbidden sexual desire sparks are flying! Whoee! The scene in the Moor was breathtaking and so intense! The last few chapters have kept my attention and filled in some "Why?" blanks and the history of the two kingdoms detailed as needed. Looking forward to the next chapters! Great descriptive writing!"

MY NEW FAVORITE!
"WHY OH WHY I JUST FOUND THIS STORY NOW? Well okay I dont know when the author a.k.a Ren piblished her story but I definitely wish I read it sooner! It is just that good! I am such a sucker for enemy to lovers and boy does this story deliver! It is a story about a princess and a prince who are at war and whose kingdom definitely hate each other became sworn enemy. Imagine Romeo and Juliette, but better and maybe without the girl drinking that poison. Our female lead is a very strong, ruthless, and wont hesitate to kill if someone cross her. I am so glad she is not a damsel in distress, I read that too much already and this book is like a fresh air to me! Her interacrion with Prince Kio, the male interest, is purely hatred from both sides. Once they even tried to kill each other for real. But I am glad it goes like this cause it breaks the stereotype and I am so looking forward how they hate will turn to love! I know for sure it will be soooo epic! Kio is definitely my favorite here after Mekah. Even though I have not gotten to know him much, he is a fantastic (and hot!) Male interest. Especially since he does not kill her even though he got a chance! Aww love him! I am honestly becoming a new fan of this story and I look forward to the next update! Good job Ren!!!🥳"
