Chapter 1

He’d never really expected they would accept him, not with all the demands he’d put on the interaction. No real name, the session had to be in public, cash transaction only, and such a long list of things they couldn’t do with him, things that might set off a panic attack. Then he’d gotten the call, scheduling his session with Gemini.

One of the twins sat in the rolling chair behind the large, sturdy desk, while his identical brother stood beside him, both looking over the print out of the list they’d had Austin mail to them. Austin shifted nervously in the small chair on the other side of the desk, trying to keep his breathing slow and steady. He’d never been asked to make a list of things he did and didn’t enjoy before, and he was starting to wonder if he’d put too many things on the don’t enjoy side.

“You don’t have violet wand listed on either side. Is it something you’ve tried before?”

Austin’s brow wrinkled slightly at the seated brother’s question. “What’s a violet wand?”

The standing brother grinned. “Our new toy. Basically a light electrical simulator. Damian has been dying to try it out.”

“Oh. That should be fine. It’s not on my no list.”

The twins exchanged a look that Austin couldn’t quite read, though they turned back to the list before he really had much time to think about it. “There are a lot of things on the no list for what we can call you. I think we’ll err on the side of caution and simply avoid any sort of humiliation play. We do need something we can call you besides just A. How do you feel about Angel?”

Austin’s eyes widened at the suggestion. “Angel? I don’t know that it really fits-”

“I don’t know, an angel tied up for two demons to play with? I rather like the imagery.”

He flushed before giving a small nod. “I guess that would work.”

“Good. Then your club name will be Angel.”

Austin opened his mouth to protest, though before he had a chance the twins were on another topic. “You have floggers as a yes, which we find absolutely delightful. No blood play for us either. You did read over our checklist when you applied for a session with us, didn’t you? There’s quite a bit of alignment here naturally.”

“I did.” He’d also referenced their list while he made his own, erring on picking things that he knew they would enjoy, even if he was a little hesitant about anything. He needed this too bad to let them turn him away over some stupid little hesitation. Maybe he should have put more things as yes, maybe they’d still turn him away and get someone else for their session tonight-

“Angel, are you comfortable with us using a gag on you tonight while you are tied up? You will have a ball with a bell in it to still be able to use a safeword, but we understand if you’re not comfortable enough with us yet to give up your voice.”

He nodded quickly, quashing down the panic that tried to rise at the thought of being unable to ask the crowd for help. It was the whole point of insisting on the public session after all, but if he said no they might turn him down.

“Perfect. Nipple clamps should be a fun addition as well I think. Just a little extra sensation for you to focus on. Can you think of anything else that you want to experience tonight Angel?”

That was a question he hadn’t expected, and after a moment he gave a slow shake of his head. “No Sirs, I can’t think of anything.”

Both men smiled at him, the seated one speaking. “Alright, so tonight we are going to be tying you to a Saint Andrews cross, gagging you, and then using floggers, clamps, and the violet wand. Your safe words when ungagged are red for complete stop, and yellow for check in. When you are gagged you will drop the ball for red, and shake it for yellow. Those are club standards for safewords by the way, so everyone in the club will know what they mean. Do you agree Angel?”

Austin thought it over before he finally gave a small nod. “Yes, I think that is okay.”

“Wonderful. We’ll go get things set up if you want to change. Boxers will be worn for the whole session, and there’s a robe for you to wear as you come out.”

Brown eyes flicked over to the folded cloth with a set of boxers placed on top, only now realizing that the cloth was a robe. Instantly his face turned red once more, though nodded and grabbed the little pile as the twins stood. “Just leave your clothes in here. Someone will take them to the room we’ll be going to after the session.

It took him a while to build up his nerve, and another long while before he managed to leave the room, finding the twins waiting patiently. Both smiled as he exited the room, one of them stepping forward and offering a hand. “Hello Angel. We are happy you have chosen to spend the evening with us. Are you ready to get started?”

He took a deep breath before finally giving a little nod and placing his hand in the offered one. The other twin stepped forward, catching hold of his free hand. “Such a good boy for us Angel. We’re going to make sure you are properly rewarded for being so good.”

They lead him to the stage, and Austin blinked out at the crowd, heart racing as one of the twins spoke loudly. “Welcome everyone! As you know, my brother and I are Gemini, and we are pleased to introduce you to our newest, very good boy, Angel.”

They lead him to the Saint Andrews cross in the middle of the stage, both twins talking to him softly as they carefully bound him to it with soft, padded leather cuffs. Clamps were attached to his nipples, one of the twins grinning at him as he wiggled them a little and pulled a soft whimper from Austin. “Just making sure they’re secure.”

A ball was placed in his hand, one of the twins going over how to safe word with it once more as the other brought a ball gag over from a table they had off to the side, just out of his sight. “Are you ready Angel?”

He hesitated only a moment before giving a firm nod of his head. He’d signed up for this, he needed this, and he wasn’t about to back down now. “Yes. I’m ready.”

“Good boy.”

The twins were gentle to start, checking often that they weren’t moving too fast or going to hard for him, though Austin was starting to get frustrated with how long it was taking them to really start using some pressure.

And then they suddenly were, the crops hitting with heavy thuds he knew would leave him bruised by the end of the night. It was exactly what he’d wanted, what he’d needed, and Austin let his mind clear with the thudding of the crops.

Everything suddenly stopped, and Austin’s eyes slowly opened, glancing between the brothers to see what had gone wrong. The ball gag was carefully pulled from his mouth, and he focused on stretching his jaw for a moment before pain blossomed over his chest. Years, it had been years since someone had touched him this way, and the burn of pain was so delicious as one of the twins circling him on the platform removed the nipple clamps that had been put on him at the beginning of their session.

“Lets play a game.”

“If you can tell which of us is which we’ll let you cum.”

“So who is it? Am I Terry?”

“Or is he Damian?”

Brown eyes darted between the two, doing his best to figure out which was which. One of the brothers moved behind him, fingers gently teased across the extra sensitive nubs of flesh, even that enough to draw a hiss of pain from the man on the St. Andrews cross. Lips brushed against his ear, the voice soft, seductive. “Come on Angel, you have a fifty percent chance of getting it right, even if you guess. If you guess right we’ll make sure this is the best night you ever have.”

In front of him the other twin smirked, his flogger thudding into the bound man’s stomach. It sounded worse than it truly was, though it still made him jerk against the ropes holding him in place. “If you guess wrong the gag goes back in and you spend the rest of the night here and we get to test out our new violet wand.”

They were watching him, judging him, and he finally made a desperate guess, nodding to the man in front of him. “You’re Terry?”

The brother in back sighed as he lifted the ball gag to their toy’s lips once more. “Pity. I was going to let you fuck me if you got it right. I was really hoping you’d get it right.” The man on the cross gave a sob as the gag was fastened once more, the crowd around groaning in sympathy and only prolonging his grief over the lost chance.

The man in front of him, the one who had to be Damian, gave a smirk as he turned to the table of toys once more. “Don’t worry Terry. I’ll be more than happy to help you scratch that itch when we’re done here. Is our Angel ready brother?”

The bound man’s head lifted once more at the name he’d been given for their session. A hand closed around his own, the one that was desperately clinging to a small cat ball. Once more a soft voice spoke in his ear, words meant only for him, even in front of the crowd watching every movement. “Show me Yellow.”

Obediently Angel shook his hand, causing the bell to ring inside the ball. “Very good. Now, red.”

This time the ball dropped from his hand, though it had to be caught quickly by the sound, and it was only a moment later before the twin behind him was pressing the ball into his hand once more. “Such a good boy Angel.” Pride flooded through him as the man behind him praised the movement, followed by a wash of lust as he felt teeth gently nip his ear. “He is ready brother.”

“Good.” The other twin moved toward Angel once more, the movement that of a hunter, and a gleam in the man’s eyes as he tested the violet wand’s power against his own palm first. Once he was certain of the strength he started at Angel’s stomach, the electricity against his skin starting out as a soft tickle, though it started growing stronger as it moved along his flesh. Angel groaned into his gag as it buzzed the still sensitive nipples, then started moving down, over his stomach once more, then hovering over his boxers.

“Just imagine, I’ve got a metal butt plug and cock ring that I’m looking forward to pairing with this.” Angel’s cock twitched at the words, his eyes closing as another groan slipped from his throat. The twins were going to end up killing him like this, and it was a better death than any he could have hoped for.

Angel gasped as his nipples suddenly lit on fire once more, a thwacking sound telling him what had happened even before he opened his eyes, finding the other twin holding a flogger and grinning at him. “Now, now, you don’t think I’m going to let my brother have all the fun, do you?”

They kept going, keeping Angel right at the edge of pleasure and pain, of anticipation and surprise. He felt completely lost in the sensation before his mind suddenly switched back on, certain that true pain was coming next, pain that he couldn’t stop while he was tied and gagged. Panic started to rise before Austin shook the ball, the bell ringing softly. Instantly both brothers stopped what they were doing, one even dropping the flogger in his hand in order to free Angel of the ball gag. “What’s wrong?”

He couldn’t tell them the truth, couldn’t tell them that the goal they’d all been reaching for had nearly thrown him into a panic attack. They’d never want to work with him again, he’d never be able to get through his fears. “I need a drink please Sir.”

One of the brothers rushed off to get him a drink, the other gently stroking his cheek and talking calmly to him. The brother who brought the bottle had even thought to put a straw in it, and the twins took some time to help Angel re-hydrate. Their soft words and touches helped slow Angel’s heart, and by the time they asked him if he wanted to continue or not any signs of panic had faded away to nothing. “Please, yes.” He wanted more, wanted to push through the fear that had been holding him back.

One of the twins smirked at the response.“Maybe we should give you another chance at the game.”

“Am I Damian?”

“Or am I?”

Desperation flooded through Angel as he looked from one to the other, finally giving a small shake of his head. The twins were far too alike, it could just as easily have been one man and a mirror. “I-I don’t know.”

The twin who had smirked at him laughed, heading to the table as the other smiled gently and kissed Angel’s forehead. “No one ever does. Now, show me yellow.”

The rest of the night continued in much the same way, the twins finally deciding that Angel had had enough and carefully helping him off the cross. He stumbled slightly, four hands instantly catching hold of him and supporting him as they gently led him through the crowds and into a private room. His brain felt peacefully numb as a bottle of water was placed into his hands, the twins carefully checking him over and encouraging him to drink with soft voices. Finally they guided him into the bed, taking his bottle and setting it on an end table before they slipped under the covers on either side of him. Angel’s heart skipped a beat as the twins joined him in the bed, though he was still too deep in his peaceful place for the panic to rise.

“How are you feeling?” One of them was stroking his hair as he spoke, both of them still pressed close against him.

Angel blinked slowly, thinking the question over before he answered. “Tired.”

That earned him a little laugh, and the other twin nuzzled against his neck. He half expected the man to bite him, to grope him even, but their touches remained gentle and above the waist. “Not surprising. We did go a bit longer than any of us had expected to.”

That was a bit of an understatement, though Angel was thankful for it. He’d needed the extra time they’d been willing to give him to avoid the panic, had needed the eyes on them to make sure that they didn’t take things too far, even needed it to be the both of them so he wasn’t putting himself in one man’s control once more. All he could manage to say to try and convey all of his emotions over the session was, “S’okay. It was good.”

However, the next words jolted him back from the edge of passing out. “Do you want us to stay here with you until you wake up?”

Instantly the panic started to rise up his throat once more, and he quickly shook his head. “I kick. And spread out. Wouldn’t be fun.”

One of the twins chuckled. “We don’t mind.”

The other nodded his agreement. “No, we really don’t.”

“I sleep better alone.”

He did his best to keep his breathing slow and calm, to keep from showing the panic that was quickly starting to grow. However, one of the twins spoke before he could sink into a full panic attack. “That’s okay. Do you want us to stay until you fall asleep, then leave? We’ll come back as soon as we wake up to make sure you’re still doing alright.”

Angel gave a small sigh of relief and relaxed at the offer, his panic starting to ease up. They wouldn’t be there while he was asleep, he wouldn’t be helpless. “That would be nice.”

“Then that is what we will do. There is someone in the hall to make sure everyone has what they need and are safe. If you wake up before us let them know and they will call us down, understand?”

Angel nodded obediently, earning himself another soft kiss to the forehead from one of the twins. “You are wonderful, and we are so happy that you decided to come to us.”

The other brother once more nuzzled into the side of Angel’s neck. “He’s right. We are very happy, and very proud of how you handled yourself tonight.”

The words had pushed the rest of his panic away, and he beamed at the praise. They continued speaking softly to him, telling him how wonderful he had been, how well he had done for them. Angel slowly felt himself drifting away into sleep, letting himself doze off under the twins watch.

A soft hand stroking his hair woke him, and Angel stiffened, his eyes flying open to find one of the twins laying on the bed beside him, though this time the twin was on top of the blankets, and the smell of coffee filled the room. “What time is it?”

“A little after noon Angel. Here, sit up a bit. I brought you coffee.”

He pushed himself up a little bit, his gaze dropping to the cup as he carefully took it. How long had the man been there, watching him? How long had he been alone with someone else, completely helpless if the man had decided to do something to him? He tried to push the panic down, trying to focus on anything else. “Thank you. I didn’t really expect to see either of you this morning.”

The twin shrugged, grabbing a cup of his own. “Like we told you last night, we want to make sure you recover okay. It’s one of the most important parts of our job. My brother would be here as well, but he hasn’t quite made it out of bed himself. I heard him moving around when I left though, so he should be here soon.”

Angel didn’t lift his gaze from the warm cup in his hand, but he slowly started to relax. The twin hadn’t been there long. His brain darted about, looking for anything to talk about that could distract him from his fears. “Did you really fuck him last night?”

“Oh, actually we pretty much went straight to bed once we’d settled you in. You were able to handle a lot more than we had expected for your first time with us Angel.”

“I did mention in the letter that I’ve experienced a lot of this. Just not so publicly.” Or with so much care, with softness mixed with the pain, care with the sadism. It was an interesting mix. Angel glanced up to the twin on the bed with him. “But you have before? Fucked him I mean.”

The twin smiled gently as he answered. “Occasionally we have fun together, but it’s always more fun with someone else. It’s just a bit too much like masturbation when it’s just the two of us.”

Angel laughed a little as he finally relaxed enough to lean back, lightly pressing against Terry’s side as he sipped at his coffee. It was calming to know that the twins had each other as a distraction if it came down to it. It meant there was less chance that they’d feel the need to force Angel into anything. “I suppose it would be. You two are so much alike. Are there any differences at all?”

“Ah, now that would be cheating! What if you decided to spend another night with us? We wouldn’t want to give away the game.” The twin leaned over to nuzzle his neck softly. “And after last night I certainly do expect we will be seeing you again.”

“Oh yes.” The answer came out as more of a breath of excitement than real words. He’d been safe, and the more time he spent with the twins the safer he was feeling.

They were distracted as the door opened once more, and the other twin made his way in, his hair a mess and his eyes only half open. “Morning.”

“Good morning Terry. Did you sleep well?” Angel grinned at having guessed their names correctly that morning, even though it wasn’t one of the games. Maybe this would help him the next time they did play.

The other twin slipped into the bed as well with a yawn, pulling the blankets over himself and resting his head on Angel’s chest and lightly running a hand down his stomach. “Mmm. Yeah. How about you Angel? Did you sleep okay?”

Angel was far more relaxed now that both brothers were in the room, allowing the touches with a little smile. “Like the dead, thanks you you two. I haven’t slept this well in years.”

The brother under the blankets took his brother’s cup of coffee to steal a sip while the other spoke. “We’re glad to be able to help Angel.”

Angel felt himself starting to blush, and he quickly ducked his head down and changed the topic. “You must love all of this, I mean living like this. It must be the perfect life.”

The covered twin set the coffee mug onto the nightstand. “It can be. For the right person. It helps that we have each other, otherwise it can be a bit lonely. It’s hard to build a relationship when your partner thinks you’re cheating on them every night, and just about everyone who works here who has tried to have a relationship with anyone runs into that problem sooner or later.”

Angel blinked in surprise, brown eyes actually meeting the blue gaze peering up at him. “Oh, I guess I never thought of it that way. But it’s not really cheating, right? I mean, you don’t even usually have sex with your clients.”

“We do on occasion if we wish it, but we certainly do not have to if we don’t want to. However, very few people can watch what we did last night and not think it’s sexual, even when it isn’t. But like my brother said, we have each other, and we both love this.”

“Yeah, I can tell. I’m still soar from it.” Angel grinned at them. “You two are the best doms I’ve ever experienced.

That instantly drew a critical look from the sleepier brother. “Are you sure you are just sore? We really should look you over and make sure everything is okay.”

Angel’s heart skipped a beat, this time in happy surprise instead of fear or panic. No one had ever cared about his well being so much. “Oh, it is. Really. I have plenty of experience, I know when something feels wrong.”

The other brother gave a little tisk of his tongue at that. “Never the less, a good dom always makes sure his submissives are healthy after a session, both in mind and body. I think we’ve gotten the mind part as well as we can, but we really do need to make sure your body is well.”

The brunette sighed before obediently slipping off the bed to stand, his cheeks reddening as the two brothers carefully examined his body both visually and with soft touches, the pair occasionally discussing a welt or bruise with just a few words. Finally they stepped back, matching smiles on their faces. “Well, it looks like you’re just fine. You will need to come in for another check in in a week to let us know if anything hasn’t healed of course.”

“Of course.” He shifted his hand slightly, trying to hide the erection that had formed while they had examined him. “I have to ask, if I had guessed right, would you really have told me? Would we really have, well, you know.” He wasn’t sure what he wanted the answer to be, wasn’t sure if he would have wanted to risk the night they had spent together by turning things sexual so soon.

One of the twins laughed softly, catching hold of Angel’s hand and lifting it so he could place a soft kiss on the back of it. “Of course we would have. It was on your check list as well as our’s, and we wouldn’t have offered if we hadn’t meant it.”

The other’s tone was nearly wistful. “If only we had time to play today.”

“But we don’t brother. I’m sorry Angel, but we really do need to get going now that we are certain you are well. Plenty that needs done today before work tonight” He leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on one of the man’s cheeks. “I’m certain we will see you again.”

His bookend kiss the other cheek. “And we are looking forward to your phone call next week. Do not forget.”

“I won’t Sir. Sirs.” How could he? There was no way he’d forget anything about his night spent with Gemini, or pass up a chance to see the twins again.

They both gave him a smile and one last hug before leaving him to the room. It didn’t take Angel long to find the shower and wash up before dressing in the clothes that had been left waiting for him on the counter. He spent a little time in the room, finishing up the now cooled coffee and thinking over how the night before had gone before he finally left himself.

“Ah, Angel. Nice to see you up and moving.”

He blinked in surprise at the unfamiliar voice, his brow wrinkling as he studied the stranger standing from a chair in the hallway. “Do I know you?”

“Oh, I suppose not really. My name’s Jason. I was on babysitter duty for the night.”

Angel tilted his head. “Babysitter? There aren’t kids-”

Jason interrupted him with a laugh. “No, no. It’s nothing like that. I guess it’s kinda like a valet. I check in on people who need it in the rooms, and I hang out here in case someone needs something.” He shrugged. “Not the fanciest job, but I kinda enjoy being able to help out.”

“So when they left-”

“Yeah, Gemini asked me to check in on you a couple times during the night to make sure you were okay.”

Angel frowned, not quite sure how he felt about that. Jason kept talking, clearly picking up on the other’s nervousness. “It’s a double safety actually.” He motioned up to a camera in the corner of the hall. “No recording, but a live security feed, wired only so no one can hack in. I’m here for instant help, and someone else watches the cameras to make sure nothing goes wrong. If they spot a red flag customer or I’m spending too much time in someone’s room or something they send someone to handle it.”

“That’s quite the system.”

“It has to be. We take everyone’s safety very seriously.”

Angel couldn’t help but smile. “I do appreciate that. It’s actually one of the reasons I reached out to Gemini. Safety is so important.”

“See? You get it!” Jason grinned. “I’m glad we were able to give you a good experience. Hopefully we will be seeing you again.”

Angel chuckled. “Of course you will. I need to come check in with Gemini in a week so they can be sure I’m okay. Seems a little silly honestly.”

Jason shrugged. “It serves a few purposes, liability and easing their minds that they didn’t do any lasting damage. It can be hard on the mind to do that much to someone.”

“Really? That hasn’t been my experience.”

Concern filled Jason’s eyes. “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that Angel.”

Pity, he could feel the pity coming off the babysitter. “I should get going. I work tomorrow, so I really should get some things done at home.”

“Ah, of course. Sorry to keep you.”

“It’s not a problem. Thank you for checking in on me and making sure I’m okay, and for showing me the security.”

Angel took deep breaths as he left the club, trying to push aside the lingering pity from the babysitter. He’d done so well all night, had kept his panic at bay, hadn’t let the twins down, but the babysitter pitied him? “Fuck him.”

The words made him smile as he got into his car with only the smallest of winces. Gemini had certainly left their mark on his skin, and he was going to be tender for a few days at least, but it was no where near as bad as some experiences he’d had in the past. Hell, he’d hurt more after ten minutes than he hurt now, and the memories to go with that hurt hadn’t been nearly as pleasant.

It didn’t take long to reach his apartment building, though the stairs up to the second floor seemed daunting. He may not hurt much, but he did still hurt, and each of those steps reminded him of the night he’d been through. He just made it to his door when the door beside his opened, a man stepping out and blinking at him in surprise. “Oh, hello there! I’m Conner, your new neighbor. Just moved in this week.”

He nearly replied with Angel before catching himself. “Ah, hello. I’m Austin.”

Conner’s grin didn’t faulter as he stepped forward, offering a large, strong hand out. “Nice to meet you Austin. Figure I should warn you now, I keep kinda weird hours. I try not to make too much noise, but I’m a firefighter. Sometimes I’ll be running out in the middle of the night. I promise I’ll do my best not to wake you up if I do.”

Austin shook the hand, for a moment his brain wondering just what it would feel like to have someone as strong as Conner doing what the twins had the night before. Not that the twins weren’t strong in their own right, but Conner looked like he spent most of his free time working out.

He didn’t even realize he had forgotten to speak until Conner gave an awkward cough and pulled his hand back. “Anyhow, I need to get going. Almost time for my shift. Let me know if you need help or anything. You know where to find me.”

“Same to you. I may not be the best help moving a sofa, but I’ll give it my best shot.”

Conner laughed, grinning at Austin. “I might hold you up to that offer, but I promise to pay you back with a beer.”

“Sounds like a plan. Have a good day at work.” Austin took a moment to admire the view as Conner headed to the stairwell before he finally entered his apartment. He’d only moved in two years before, bringing next to nothing with him, and while he’d bought some furniture the apartment was still mostly bare. There was no art on the walls, no plants, nothing truly personal. The closest to personal was a few worn romance books on the bookshelf, but even those were all second hand, found in a local second hand bookstore.

Fingers closed around the glasses Austin had left on the counter. Technically he wasn’t supposed to drive with them, but he’d felt they’d be safer at home than at the club. Once they were on Austin looked around the apartment, a frown crossing his face. It only took a moment for him to decide that it was about time he truly settled in. It had been two years after all, he’d even had the nerve to hire Gemini. He was safe here, and he deserved to have some nice things.

Decision made Austin turned around, heading back to his car for a shopping trip. Nothing too big to start with of course, he’d just blown a chunk of his savings on his visit with the twins, but a few comfort items he could enjoy. The twins had been right after all, he was good, and he deserved good things.

Two hours later Austin returned to his apartment once more, this time weighed down with a collection of plastic bags. He hummed to himself as he started unpacking his new treasures, a soft, fuzzy blanket to go on the sofa, along with a pair of soft throw pillows, perfect for snuggling into while he read one of the new to him books he’d gotten from the second hand store. He’d also gotten some lavender bubble bath mix and bath salts, and a pair of African violets. Austin set one of the plants next to his work bag, then he placed the other in the windowsill behind the sofa, smiling as he studied the light gleaming off the pink flowers. He’d always loved plants, used to have quite the collection since he’d worked in a greenhouse during college.

A second African violet was placed beside his work bag to take to the office the next morning before Austin grabbed one of his new books and settled onto the sofa with his new soft pillows and blankets, setting some classical music playing on his phone before letting himself get lost in the world on paper.
