Chapter 1

Felix had walked out of class really annoyed and angry. He couldn't believe that Mrs. Kim *his math teacher *had really chosen today out of all the other days to give them all a whole pack of homework. He had already hated math so much, and he also hated doing the assignments, but to combine all of the homework on the day he was going to babysit was really almost unfair. He groaned while walking in SOPA *School Of Performing Arts* hallway filled with other disgruntled, excited, or just passive teenagers. "Dude why do you look like you're constipated?" His snarky best friend, ChangBin, asked with a smirk. "Why do you think?" Felix knew Changbin was just teasing. It was really a really good opportunity for Felix to get some nice cash as being a babysitter, but really the timing was absolutely wrong. "Just do your homework after school 🏫 so you can have time to babysit at night." Changbin said with a reasonable point, but Felix still had looked at his friend like he was crazy. " Who in the heck does their homework during the day? And, besides you and I both know how packed the Choi family is, they're hella rich. Babysitting tonight alone will get me more money than I had ever would than on a per-day basis when I worked at McDonald's.".

"But also they are super really creepy-- at least, that's what I hear on social media and or at school."

"Not the parents-- they're fine, as far as I know. I-It's the kids who really creep me out."

Changbin had laughed at my statement.

Felix frowned. *What was so funny about the statement?*

"You know how weird you sound right now for you to admit that eleven - and nine-year-old kids are creepy and you still would want to babysit them?"

"How bad could it really be? They're probably just entitled just like all rich kids are. Also, they seem secluded and also they don't have many friends. It could be great for them to have me around babysitting."

Felix friend gave him a knowing look, causing Felix to break. "알았어, 알았어. (Okay, Okay)" Felix raised his hands. "I'm mainly doing this just for the money, not because I give a dang about the two rich kids. So that being said, why can't I just do both?"

"Fair enough. Just do your homework if you don't want to be given a zero tomorrow by Mrs. Kim." Felix had a brilliant idea, but then Changbin beat him to it. "No" He said, "I'm not doing it for you."

Felix frowned.

Later that night, he was finally ready to go. The young teen had put on his best casual -yet- formal attire and headed towards downstairs. "Eomma, I'm heading out," He said. "Make an amazing and good impression," His mother, who was sitting on the couch with his Stepdad, who he doesn't don't like much, watching the news, said. "Be on your best behavior," His Stepdad added. "Of course. When am I never on my best behavior?" Both of his parents had scoffed. Felix rolled his eyes.

Felix didn't really have to walk far to reach the Choi family mansion, since he lived just only a block away from the place. It was the largest building in the town, and that was counting the school, hospital, and even the malls.

He reached the gate and saw the guard there in front of the gate. He was a tall fierce -looking man. "Hello I-I..." He began, but before he could say anymore, the guard had opened the gate. He looked at him awkwardly prior to rush towards the doorway of the mansion. Felix liked the number of the lights in the garden around the mansion and the beautiful landscape of the mansion. There were a lot of pretty red flowers, especially roses, and the lights were dim but varied. The whole distance from the gate to the doorway felt almost as long as going from his house to the Choi family.

Nobody really knew much about the Choi family. They had moved here in Seoul four years ago and seemed extremely rich, but they had also seemed ominous. The patriarch of the whole household, Min-Joon Choi, was a handsome, tall, about 6'3, and charismatic man who was very good with people but always found a way to not reveal too much about himself--at least, that's what Felix Stepdad always said.

So-Yeon Choi, his wife, was a regal woman who was oozed exquisite taste and poise. She was always really kind to Felix, and his family, as far as the teen knew, and Felix 's mom liked her a lot. His parents did, however, had agreed that she never talked about her personal life or family's life before coming to Seoul.

The most particular thing about that family was, without no doubt, the kids, Han-Soo and Ji-Sung. Han-Soo, the sister, was nine years old, and Ji-Sung, the brother, was eleven years old.
