Chapter 1
Long crimson hair waved in the wind. She tucked a stray strand behind her ear with a hand clad in black, fingerless gloves.
Her long, open black blazer fluttered in the wind, reaching past her knees. It danced in tandem with her knee-length red and black checkered skirt.
Beneath her blazer, she wore a collared white school uniform, neatly tucked into her skirt. A black lace ribbon decorated the center of her uniform's collar.
Her purple brooch, adorned with an Aster flower design, glimmered in the sunlight. It was pinned to her blazer, signifying both her affiliation with the special Sword and Magic Arts class and her role as the treasurer of the student council.
Clack. Clack. Clack.
Her black, 4-inch high heels gently clicked against the cobblestone as she confidently walked towards the academy entrance, despite the whispers of students behind her.
She didn’t mind the rumors circulating about her on the school premises, and she couldn’t believe that she slayed on walking in high heels.
Her blue eyes sparkled with joy, proud of her accomplishment of mastering walking in heels. She eagerly looked forward to telling her childhood friend about her triumph and his lost bet. However, she decided to wait until she found him to fulfill their promise. Next, she planned to prove him wrong yet again by mastering the use of her heels as a lethal weapon, a prospect that seemed promising.
She may be a noble lady on the outside, but her soul was a male from the start.
The woman's body in question belonged to an R18 Boys' Love (BL) novel entitled: You Are My Fated One, and he transmigrated into this unfortunate woman.
Although she wasn't the novel's female lead, she played the role of a mob boss or villainess due to her family connection with the protagonist, who was her childhood friend.
In the original novel, she obstructed the protagonist's love for the duke's heir. She fell in love with him at first sight during their debut at the kingdom's noble ball.
What was the debutante ball? In this kingdom, it was an important tradition, particularly for fifteen-year-olds. Noble children were required to attend this ceremony. It marked their transition into adulthood and their formal introduction to noble society.
As the story progressed, the villainess tragically became one of the casualties when the academy was suddenly attacked by the main boss.
June Anderson, who occupied the body of Emelia Roosevelt, devised a grand plan. To not die in vain, she planned to ally herself with the protagonist. Through this friendship, she aimed to improve her survival odds and become overpowered in the world of Avalorn.
Naturally, having accepted her new identity as a girl, she was indifferent to the pronouns used. However, she chose to use the pronoun ‘she,’ due to being in a young lady's body.
“Emelia!!”
A familiar voice called out behind her, and he was quickly approaching her. She did not turn her back while she continued to walk, ignoring him.
“Emelia!! Don’t be so cold to me!” Whined the childish young male. His voice sounded soothing and gentle to her ear like a chiming bell, and Emelia faced him quickly, ready to retort.
Unfortunately, the young male tripped, and they both fell to the ground.
With Emelia’s quick reflex, she captured him within her arms in an embrace while her hands protected the young man’s head.
Both of them groaned in pain, and they felt something soft pressing on their lips.
His emerald eyes widened in surprise, a pink hue coloring his cheeks. His vibrant green hair, styled in a ponytail and braid, thankfully remained neat.
Emelia's expression was the opposite of surprise. On the outside, she appeared calm, but on the inside, she was seething that her first kiss had been taken so easily. She would have preferred to save her first kiss for the person she was interested in, and she hoped that the male lead hadn't seen their shared brief kiss. She wanted to live, thank you very much.
The young lady pushed herself away from him until she was straddling the sides of his hips while she was on top of the young man.
Emelia could hear the students gossiping behind her back, and she knew the topic was between her and her childhood friend. She decided to ignore them because she felt worried that he was hurt.
“Are you okay, Lucas?” She asked him in concern, waiting in reply while she was oblivious to the position she was in, and she forgot easily about their short kiss earlier.
Lucas covered his crimson face with his hands to hide away from his embarrassment while nodding slowly, and his mind kept on repeating between his and his childhood friend’s short-lasting kiss and their current inappropriate position.
‘Her lips are soft against mine, and she’s on top of me!’ Lucas was in shock, and he felt his heart flutter
Lucas looked like he was in a daze, but Emelia felt relief after she found out that Lucas didn’t have any wounds on his body.
She decided to observe him below her. The sixteen-year-old green-haired young man wore an open, long, black blazer with a hoodie, which the hoodie was knocked off when both of them fell, and Emelia knew that his white collared school uniform was loosened, never tucking in with his black pants as his usual style.
Instead of a brooch that was pinned on his blazer, it was a purple aster lapel pin badge, indicating that he and Emelia were classmates.
“Are you—” She got interrupted when someone tapped her shoulder to pay attention.
Annoyed, her head whipped behind her to tell them to go away, but she paused after seeing who they were.
It was the freaking male lead, Gabriel Rothschild. The Duke’s son and the first cousin of the prince of this land.
Like Lucas, Gabriel wore the same proper uniform but without a hoodie, and he wore thin, black, silky gloves.
Gabriel had long black hair with a ponytail style, and he had his signature golden amber eyes with orange diamond pupils.
He was also part of the student council as a Vice President, and he wore the matching brooch with Emelia.
Normally, Emelia avoided him like a plague with success, and she wanted Lucas and Gabriel to meet first until she glided in to introduce herself as the protagonist’s childhood friend.
Unfortunately, her luck ran out like her previous life in the real world.
“Here, take my hands." Gabriel reached out one of his hands toward her, and he wanted to help her save a bit of her dignity. He avoided her gaze while he coughed on his fist with a blush on his cheeks.
Emelia just looked at Gabriel's hand in disbelief and shock, and Gabriel was feeling awkward as minutes passed by.
‘He saw it...' Emelia felt dread deep inside her chest.
“F#&₱.” Emelia cursed under her breath while her face paled, and she prayed that Gabriel didn’t think that she stole his lover, even though the two young boys weren’t an item yet.
She sincerely supported their romance, wanting them to marry. She desired to be a supporting character, aiding the main characters in their journey. All this was done in the name of her one true pairing, ensuring their relationship sailed smoothly.
In addition, she wanted to observe their budding romance and teased her childhood friend about Gabriel's intimate techniques.
Don’t blame her fujoshi’s heart.
< System: You got 1 strike for your foul language. After the 3 strikes, you will be banned and be muted in 3 days. >
A blue screen popped out in front of her, and she quickly pressed the close button subconsciously.
Emelia gave the system with a middle finger inside her mind.
< System: (。•́︿•̀。) >
Emelia wondered how her life became a roller coaster ride. She preferred watching the drama unfold instead of joining the drama.
Ah, yes. She remembered. It all started when she transmigrated into this world...
