Chapter: 17th princess
"You have to be joking, are you perhaps drunk " she asked with her fakest smile.
"I am not joking princess, I have thought about it, and I have been unfair towards you, we never spent any time together and I regret that, I was never one to show affection, but that will change soon, let us push our wedding forward please," he said and held her hand.
"Like I said lord, I wish to break off your engagement, I can see that you are not ready to think straight, once you stop thinking like a di… like a love-sick man, I shall hear your logical answer, I shall take my leave, good day" she said and left the young man sitting on his own.
This was the cursed 7th princess of the Searella kingdom, she was elegant and a pushover to most, but that was before fainting 3 months ago due to her beating by her father. She was a completely changed person, to understand what I mean let's go back 1 year and 3 months back.

"No, no, no, no, this cannot be at all, how can this be possible?" she muttered as she looked at herself in the mirror.
She couldn't believe this, she had gone back to her first life, well according to her memory, the life that she hated the most, the life that made her miserable, the life she always had nightmares about and the life that she wished she had not experienced.
"Princess, we need to go, if your father hears that you have not left, he will come here and beat you to death," Princess Athena's maid said trying to get the princess out of her head.
"Where are we going again?" she asked with a forced smile.
"We shall be spending a year in the manor, this is your second chance from the duke so we cannot delay our trip, "she said as she looked at the princess in confusion.
"Then we will leave at once," the princess said.
"Yes princess"
Sophia who was Athena's only personal maid could not believe that this was the cursed princess she had spent with all her life, she seemed as if she had changed somehow, she did not try to disagree with anything nor did she try to go to the dinner room to try and eat with everyone before leaving.
"Sophia, are you coming?" the princess asked and with that, the maid walked faster.
Athena knew this scene very well, in her past life she threw a fit and went as low as begging her father, a princess begged the duke for something, that was something to laugh about, but that was no more, she would show them how a cursed princess was truly meant to act how she couldn't wait for this year to end.
