Chapter 1 : the beginning or the end
Once upon a time there were two twin sisters. One with long golden hair and the other with long black hair. Though they were as close as the trees and the leaves, their parents and everyone they knew didn't know how close the girls were, because they were constantly blinded by their beauty. They grew up with the world at their feet as their mother was a very beautiful model born with fair skin and black hair with golden streaks. As for their father he was a mafia boss with many connections. The girls grew up with millions, and everything handed to them on a silver platter. Quite literally as a matter of fact. This family was the richest family in the large town in which they lived. Though their parents were greedy and wretched, the girls were beautiful and kind, with hearts of gold. These girls went to two different schools at their parents' request because their parents were quite terrifying, so they did as told in front of them. These girls were both the most popular girls in their schools not for their beauty or money or even because of their parents, but instead for their kindness and generosity. The first girl with the long golden hair was named Sophia. She's the brighter happy go lucky sister. The second girl with the long black hair was named Raven for she's the darker goth-like of the two sisters. Though so different they were also very much alike. At first glance you would think Raven is unapproachable and scary. You would run as fast as you could. Sophia you would look at her and instantly fall in love with gentle looking beauty. These sisters grew up side by side though their mansion had twelve rooms. They wanted to spend all their time sharing the biggest room in the house. They were inseparable since they were small children. Now they of course weren't perfect, they had fights like any normal siblings do and whatnot. At the same time when they were just five years old they made a pinky promise- yes, a pinky promise- that they would never go to bed angry with each other and as siblings they could play and tease each other, but they would always protect each other from bullies, and of course last but not least they can trust each other with absolutely everything.
Well since they started school in two different schools you might wonder how they are going to protect each other. Well, there's something different about these sisters not even their parents know about it. They are telekinetic and can read each other's mind from wherever they are, but there is another secret to these two sisters. Four generations ago their grandmother when she was seventeen met the devil in person and they fell in love and now four generations later these sisters have kept a secret that they are half demon from everyone including their parents. So, their bond was not just by blood, but by choice as well. Though many opportunities have surfaced for the sisters to become normal teens they have denied every single one. Being half human half demon, entails they have access to both worlds as well as the powers of demons. They are also just as powerful as the devil himself as of the fact he is their grandfather. The grandmother that fell in love with the devil was named Celeste, and each generation was made aware of the story between Celeste and Lucifer until the last generation before the girls were born. The mother had a small boy, which was the girl's father. His mother did not want him to have the demon side so when he was very very young she found a way to get rid of it and did. Later on when the sisters were born though their father did not have that half anymore he still had the genes and passed them to his children without knowing it.
Now most families have their favorites and just like all the rest so did this one. The mother's favorite was Sophia because she felt as her beauty would be as hers and she would follow in her mother's footsteps. As for their father his favorite would be Raven because her dark attributes scare people so she would take after her father. Except the parents were quite wrong, for the girls wanted nothing to do with the occupations of their parents. They wanted to rule both worlds together to make the surface a better world, as well as take up their legacy as rulers of the underworld and punish all wickedness as it fits instead of just a burning pit. Justice for every circumstance is what they required and with their powers that is what was done.
As for the reason for the different schools. Well, because Sophia was their mothers favorite she was made to go to a pristine classy beauty private school. As for Raven she was made to go to a dark dirty private school made for trouble makers to teach her how to be evil like their father, but as you already know that was not the case for she was still kind. Between the entire family their motto through hundreds of generations was, "protect with no mercy," and the rules are, "don't mess with our friends, and don't mess with our family, or we will show no mercy." They all followed those rules, but of course the girls had their twist of compassion and chaos mixture. No matter what happened between the sisters through their life they never fail in showing love and compassion, nor did they ever turn against each other. They ruled together under everyone's nose. Silently watching both the human race as well as the demon world.
Now for the girls love lives. Which their parents didn't know about. Sophia had her eyes on the shyest but hottest man at her school with brown hair, beautiful green eyes, fair skin, and the most amazing brain as he was also the smartest boy in the entire school. His name was Nathaniel. As for Raven's love life she looked at it at a different angle. For she was in love with her best friend,but her friend didn't know this either. Raven's best friend was named Anora with gorgeous chocolate brown skin, softest black and pink hair, and misty blue eyes. The difference between Sophia's crush and Raven's crush was Sophia's was a boy, and Raven's was a girl. Now Sophia was the only person who knew Raven liked girls.
One day it was take your child to work day. Though you would think the parents would take their favorites with them they did the opposite girl because they wanted to show love to the other child as well. Tried to get closer to their other child that they normally don't spend much time with. It worked. They got closer to their children and each parent noticed something they didn't before. The mother noticed where Sophia was never interested in modeling and beautifying, making clothes and acting like a princess Raven actually enjoyed it. The father noticed the same with Sophia that though Raven didn't care much for the mafia boss life Sophia was overjoyed. Soon the girls would have their 18th birthday. Once 18 the girls would take on the roles of their parents.
In a world of the unexpected and unknown, we find closure and peace in the ones we hold most dear to our hearts. As for this family they were tight knit but so far at the same time for the secret the girls hid from the rest of the world. Nevertheless, as close as this family is, how close the sisters are or in due time were.
