Chapter 1

Emily and her family were on a vacation in Japan, staying at a traditional ryokan (inn) nestled in the heart of a lush forest. Emily’s younger brother, Max, was a huge anime fan and was excited to explore the local culture.

“Hey, Em, have you ever heard of Asashindoragonjou?” Max asked, his eyes wide with excitement.

Emily groaned. “No, I dont care, Max.”

Max ignored her rudeness. “It’s this amazing anime about a group of ninjas who protect their world from demons and monsters. It’s got action, adventure, and a ton of cool Jou powers. You’d love it!”

“Imagine if this turns out like an isekai!” Max said, his eyes wide with excitement.

Emily rolled her eyes. “Max, please. You and your anime obsession.”

“What? It could happen!” Max protested. “You never know.”

Emily shook her head, amused by her brother’s enthusiasm. She had always been a bit of a snob when it came to anime, looking down on it as a lesser form of entertainment.

Max headed outside to explore, while Emily decided to take a relaxing bath in the inn’s hot spring. As she soaked in the warm water, she scoffed at the idea of anime being transported to the real world.

“Please, as if that would ever happen,” she muttered to herself.

Suddenly, the water in the bath started to swirl and Emily felt a strange sensation wash over her. She closed her eyes, expecting to feel the familiar sensation of the water, but when she opened them again, she found herself in a completely different world.

Emily looked around in shock and confusion, taking in the bright colors and fantastical elements of the anime world. She saw a group of ninjas running past her, chasing after a group of demons.

“What the hell is going on?” Emily exclaimed, her voice echoing through the forest.

She tried to run, but her legs wouldn’t move. Suddenly, a young ninja appeared in front of her, introducing himself as Kaito, the leader of the young ninja team.

Kaito had bright blue hair, green eyes, and a green headband with a purple streak. He had an exaggerated, over-the-top personality, and Emily couldn’t help but roll her eyes at his antics.

“Seriously? You’ve got to be kidding me,” she said, trying to hide her panic.

Kaito looked confused, clearly not understanding Emily’s sarcasm.

“Uh, hello? Can you help me get back to the real world?” Emily asked, trying to hide her panic.

Kaito looked at her sympathetically. “Huh? Real world? You’re in the world of Asashindoragonjou now! And you’ll have to learn to adapt.”

Emily couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She looked around, taking in the strange new world around her. She saw a group of samurais in the distance, their swords glinting in the sunlight. She saw a group of schoolgirls giggling and chatting, their uniforms bright and colorful. She saw a group of monsters lurking in the shadows, their eyes glowing with malice.

“Okay, fine,” Emily said, taking a deep breath. “I’ll play along. But can we please skip the cheesy introductions...”

Kaito looked relieved, clearly glad that Emily was on board. Emily could tell that he was a good person, despite his over-the-top personality.

She could also tell that he was hiding something, but she didn’t have the energy to press him on it.

“Sure thing, Emily,” Kaito said, smiling. “But first, let me introduce you to my team.”

He gestured to a group of young ninjas standing behind him. There was Rin, a skilled ninja with a mysterious past.

She was quiet and reserved, but Emily could tell that she had a strong sense of justice.

There was Akira, a childhood friend of Kaito and Rin, who was a skilled ninja with a laid-back attitude and a love for food.

And there was Hana, a young kunoichi (female ninja) with a bright and cheerful personality. She was a valuable member of Kaito’s team, skilled in stealth and agility.

Emily looked at the group, feeling overwhelmed and out of place. She couldn’t believe that she was stuck in this strange new world, surrounded by ninjas and demons and monsters. But she knew that she didn’t have a choice. She was here now, and she was going to have to make the best of it.

“Okay, let’s do this,” Emily said, trying to sound confident.

Emily followed Kaito and his team through the forest, still in shock and disbelief. She couldn’t believe that she was really in the world of Asashindoragonjou, surrounded by ninjas and demons and monsters.

“Okay, so what exactly is this ‘Jou’ thingy...I heard about?” Emily asked, trying to sound brave.

Rin, the quiet and reserved ninja, stepped forward. “Jou is a mystical energy that flows through all living things in this world. It can be harnessed and used for various purposes, such as combat, healing, and even teleportation.”

Emily’s eyes widened. “Teleportation? Seriously?”

Akira, the laid-back ninja, chuckled. “Yeah, it’s pretty cool. But it takes a lot of practice and training to master.”

Emily nodded, trying to take it all in. She had so many questions, but she didn’t know where to start.

“Okay, so how do I learn to use this Jou thingy?” Emily asked, trying to sound confident.

Kaito grinned. “Don’t worry, Emily. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. But first, we need to find a safe place to rest for the night.”

They continued to walk through the forest, with Emily asking question after question. The other ninjas were patient and understanding, answering her questions with humor and kindness.

As they walked, Emily couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the world around her. She saw bright, colorful flowers that she had never seen before. She heard strange, exotic birds singing in the trees. She felt a sense of peace and tranquility that she had never experienced before.

Despite her fear and confusion, Emily couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement. She was in a whole new world, filled with magic and wonder. And who knows? Maybe she would even learn to appreciate anime a little more along the way.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
