Prologue
Noah felt that that meal was not ending; he didn’t even know how Steve Hammond convinced him to accept. Now, he wanted to persuade him to babysit his daughter; well, actually, the CEO wanted him to help her with her internship, but Noah could already see himself putting up with her whining and tantrums. What he remembered of Alexa Hammond was a spoiled child who had to receive whatever she asked for, or else Troy would burn.
“So, will you help me with my daughter? I know it’s something you don’t do; I’m asking as a favor,” asked Steve. Then the man looked at the watch on his wrist, looked outside the restaurant, and said, “Look, here she and your mother are coming; see how changed my girl is.”
Noah looked up with annoyance, but when he saw the woman accompanying Janessa, he swallowed hard.
“I only ask you to take care of her, mainly from those who always try to steal her virginity; she wants to arrive chaste at marriage.”
Noah looked at his old friend and forced a smile.
And who will take care of her for me? Noah thought, biting his lips.
The phone interrupted his impure thoughts about the woman coming to his table. Seeing who was calling, he frowned.
“Is there a problem?” Steve asked.
“I hope not.”
As he listened to Michael, Noah relaxed; a spanking of his brother-in-law would do him good. Steve was only stressing him out at every turn. First, almost forcing him out of friendship pity to help the spoiled brat of a daughter, and, finally, forbidding and, at the same time, tempting him with the virginity of the spoiled brat in question.
She’s sure to arrive at marriage a virgin because she’s obnoxious, not because it’s her choice, although looking at her, that body she sends herself can make you forget for a while what comes out of that suckable mouth.
“Noah, don’t be rude; answer the greeting,” Janessa scolded him.
Noah put the phone away; he hadn’t realized he had stopped talking and was still holding it. He tried to dissimulate; however, the virgin girl looked at him with a devilish look on her face. He narrowed his eyes, and she winked at him, leaving him confused.
