My King Of The Pirates

I sit at home bored out of my mind,I look at the time. ¨Only 3:30 Am.¨ I say with a sigh.I roll over and look at the ceiling feeling the comfort of my bed beneath me. ¨Why is time so slow?¨ I question sitting up. I then received a text from my best friend. I smile at the message,Every word he types makes my smile even bigger.

Time flies by as I shut off my phone after replying to the texts. ¨I talked to him again!I got to tell him happy birthday!¨ I say to myself,Hugging my pillow to my chest. “Autumn!” Sierra yells,pushing my bedroom door open. “What?” I ask,putting my phone in my pocket.

“Odin and you are gonna be hanging out this week,remember?” Sierra asks,picking clothes out for me from my closet. “You’re making a mess-” I say,sitting up from my bed and folding my arms across my chest. “Yea..but!You talk about him all the time!So you gotta look pretty.” Sierra says,shoving clothes into my arms.

“Put these on!” Sierra says,Leaving the room. “Oh! I need to get him something..” I say to myself,Looking around my room but finding nothing to give to him. I put on the clothes Sierra got me and run outside of my room skateboarding to the store. “What would be a good present..” I ask myself,walking into the store. After about half an hour I pick a few things and go back home.

“Hey Autumn.” Sierra says. “Yea?” I ask putting my skateboard down. “Where’d you go?” Sierra sighs,Sitting down. “Nowhere.” I say walking to my room. “Also! In about 10 minutes you’re heading over to his place so be ready!” Sierra yells after me. “I swear Sierra, sometimes you act like mom.” I say shaking my head and shutting my bedroom door. Soon enough I finished putting a little goody bag together to take to my best friend’s house. I run out of my room.

“Kay, let’s go!” I say,holding the goody bag close to me. ¨No,You’re going by yourself! Hurry up! I’ll watch Kaidence and Maison.Kaylee and mom and dad are at Aunt Misty’s wedding.¨ Sierra says,shoving me outside of the house with my skateboard. I call Odin and speak to him on the way to his place.Every word Odin says,makes a smile show on my face. ¨Hey,Bestie?¨ I ask,over the phone while crossing the street.

¨Yea?¨ Odin asks. ¨You do know I’m always gonna be here to annoy you right?¨ I ask,Holding my phone to my ear with the goody bag in my other hand. ¨I know and just so we’re clear,Ima annoy you twice as much.¨ Odin replies,I smile in response. Which is stupid,Cause he cant see me right now. ¨So whatcha doin?¨ I ask,a few houses away from his place.

¨Just waiting for your arrival.¨ Odin says. ¨Guess whos here.¨ I say with a smile,Standing on the porch of his house. I look down at my phone to see he hung up. I watch as the door opens. ¨your so tall- Get shorter!¨ I say,Hugging him tightly. ¨I think I like being taller than you.¨ Odin says,smiling down at me. ¨Oh! I got you things!¨ I say,Putting my skateboard down on the ground and shoving a goody bag into his hands.

¨Happy birthday!¨ I say,smiling. ¨You didn’t have to get me anything.¨ Odin says,Hugging me. ¨You’re right..I didn’t have to,I chose to.¨ I say,Smiling at my smartness. ¨Lets go inside,Race you to my room.¨ Odin says,running to his room as I run close behind him. ¨Careful!¨ Odin’s mom yells as we make it to his room.

¨Im faster!¨ Odin says,smiling and plopping down on his bed. ¨Nu uh,You just got lucky.¨ I say,shaking my head. ¨Yeah right.¨ He says as we both laugh. ¨So where’s your brother?¨ I ask,Sitting on the floor. ¨Playing video games in the other room.¨ Odin says,Laying back in his bed.

¨Oh fun!¨ I say,Looking up at Odin. ¨Yep,Well..I’m bored. What do you want to do?¨ Odin asks, Looking down at me. ¨Let’s play a game.¨ I suggest. ¨What game would we play?¨ Odin asks, looking at me in confusion. ¨Let’s play…Bets,If you lose a bet to me then i’ll do whatever,and if I lose a bet to you then you have to do something I want.¨ I say, Smiling.

¨Fine,I’ll go first..I bet You can’t touch the ceiling with your hand.¨ Odin says.Getting up from his bed and watching me struggle to touch the ceiling. ¨Give up yet,Shortie?¨ Odin asks,raising an eyebrow. ¨Nu uh! And I’m not Short! I’m just a coffee drinker!Ï say,Falling his bed into his arms.I feel my heart beat fast and my face blush red.

¨Okay,you win!¨ I say pushing myself away from him. ¨but you haven’t gone yet.¨ Odin says,shrugging. ¨Well then,you’ve won the stupid game what would you like?¨ I ask. ¨You’ll see.¨ Odin says as he walks to another room,While I follow close behind him.
