Summary

Destiny is something strange. No one can fully understand it. The things it does are, most of the time, inexplicable and incomprehensible. Destiny brings people together. I believe fate has brought me where I am now, surrounded by people I consider home. But life hasn't always been like this. Friends don't kiss. But we did. I trembled in every joint, because of the cold and because of you. I felt your warmth even though we stood three steps apart. I felt your heart beating. Could you feel mine? It was pounding like that of a trapped rabbit. And maybe that's what I was, trapped in your eyes, with no way out. I raised my head to the full moon above us. You continued to look at me as if the spectacle of the stars was nothing compared to me. As if I represented the best thing that could ever happen to you in your whole life. You were that to me, although I wouldn't admit it to anyone. I couldn't say anything anymore. The words were stuck in my throat, inexplicably stifled by the sound of my heart trying to burst out of my chest with every step you took towards me. Your warmth enveloping every part of my body, holding me tightly, tighter and tighter. You didn't want to leave. I didn't want you to leave. But we both knew all too well that this was destiny and that we couldn't resist it. But destined souls eventually find each other. Just like you're standing next to me now.

The Story of the Name

This is a line I read in a fanfiction with Ten and Chungha, some time ago on Wattpad. As I was thinking of writing the book for a few months and couldn't find a suitable name, the first words that came to my mind were these. It fits too well with the story not to name it like that.

Inspiration

As I've mentioned before, most of the events, characters, and places are based on reality. I draw inspiration from the people around me, things that happen to me, and the places I go through.

I know that in some places it may sound cliché, but I'm narrating exactly what happened and/or is happening.
