Chapter 1
Ava Everheart was a bright and bubbly 10-year-old girl who lived with her parents in a small town in Iowa. She was the apple of her parents’ eye and they doted on her, showering her with love and affection.
One fateful night, Ava’s parents got into a heated argument with her over a petty issue. In a fit of rage, they ended up killing their daughter. Fearing the consequences, they decided to bury her body in the backyard and cover up their crime.
