βGillian here, and welcome to another vlog! Today we explore this abandoned house in the heart of New York City. As you can see, this place has a lot of historyβ¦β I stepped back, seeing a twinkle in the corner of my eye.
I saw a young woman huddled in the corner of the upstairs room. βHey, what are you doing up here?β I asked, trying to keep my voice quiet. The girl did not answer; she just looked at me with wide eyes.
βCome on, letβs get you out of here,β I reached out. But she just clenched her knees tightly and shook her head. I immediately shelved my camera and spent the next few hours coaxing the girl named Nadia from the upstairs apartment to my car.
