I saw a young woman huddled in the corner of the upstairs room. “Hey, what are you doing up here?” I asked, trying to keep my voice quiet. The girl did not answer; she just looked at me with wide eyes.

“Come on, let’s get you out of here,” I reached out. But she just clenched her knees tightly and shook her head. I immediately shelved my camera and spent the next few hours coaxing the girl named Nadia from the upstairs apartment to my car.

“I don’t like this,” she groaned, trying to fasten her seat belt. The live chat exploded, . “Poor girl 😥.”

I helped Nadia wrap herself up, then sat in my seat as she looked at me like “What the frick dude”.
