THE DEAD CELEBRITY. Poetic Journey Through Love, Loss, and the Legacy of Compassion"

In a cozy nook, where shadows sway, I stood against fate’s relentless play. Rent unpaid, like storm’s fierce cry, threatening to tear my world awry.

In the digital expanse, I sought relief, A plea for help, a sileny grief. Facebook’s canvas, WhatsApp’s realm, where hope flickered in a realm so whelm.

Silence reigned in the digital sphere, Two likes whispered, no solace near. Comments lost in cyberspace’s maze, My plea adrift in its endless haze.

Three hundred messages, a torrent wide, A cry for aid in the tumult’s tide. Yet from the sea of contacts vast, only ten reached out as shadows cast.

But in the face of need, most chose mute, Refusing aid, like withered root. Promises fragile, like glass they break, yet one soul stood, a beacon in the wake.

Homeless, I wandered through despair, Streets barren, devoid of care. In shadows’ embrace, seeking solace sweet, A nomad lost in life’s endless beat.

Yet fate, a cunning weaver, had more in store, A thief’s hand struck, leaving me poor. My wallet stolen, identity’s flight, lost in darkness, swallowed by night.

In his haste, fate claimed its toll, His life extinguished, a reckless scroll. Yet in his wake, my name lay bare, Lost amidst chaos, in city’s blare.

News of my demise spread far and wide, Tributes pouring like a rising tide. Ten thousand voices joined in grief’s song, Recalling kindness, love, and bonds so strong.

A committee formed with noble intent, to honor my memory, they were sent. Nine million raised, a phoenix’s flight, to feed the hungry in love’s pure light.

Amidst the mourning, a curious sight, Colleagues unknown appeared in the night. Seven and a half million, in lavish array, for a man they never knew, in life’s fleeting sway.

In tents and chairs, no expense spared, for a coffin adorned, in opulence bared. Six million spent on a tale untold, A fortune squandered, dreams grown cold.

In the frenzy, a vendor’s deceitful wile, Two and a half million for a coffin’s guile. Yet amidst the spectacle, my family stood, Two and a half million, their love pure and good.

Volunteers rallied in love’s tender might, With printed t-shirts in the fading light. A grand spectacle in love’s embrace, but beneath the surface, truth found its place.

Why lavish love upon the dead, when in life’s tapestry, love should be spread? Brother, heed this tale, I implore, Cherish life’s moments, love’s encore.

In the midst of this tale, a mother’s voice arose, Appearing to her son in dreams, her message froze. “Dear son,” she said, “I want to know why, I died a poor woman, though you were nearby.

I wanted to bless you before I left this earth, But now, my blessing’s gone, lost in its dearth. My meals were a struggle when I was alive, Yet you spent lavishly on my burial, no strive.

You cooked all kinds of food, meat, and drink, While in life, my sustenance made me shrink. You anointed my body with costly fragrance rare, While coconut oil sufficed, my skin to care.

You dressed my corpse in clothes so fine, While in life, my attire was far from divine. You visited my grave, checked on me with care, But in life, you rarely noticed, I was there.

You cared for my body more than my living soul, The irony cuts deep, taking its toll. Yet most painful of all, my son, do you see? The extravagant casket, compared to my reality.

In life, I dwelled in an unfinished home’s embrace, Yet you painted it all, in death’s fleeting grace. You wrote a tribute, ‘Mama, I love you so much, rest in peace,’ While I died heartbroken, longing for release.

So, son, cherish the living while they’re near, Before they depart, leaving sorrow and fear. For love and kindness in life should reign, Not just in death, where all is in vain.”

For moments count, like treasures untold, in each heartbeat, let love unfold. No regrets when time is spent, In love’s embrace, life’s true intent.

In life’s fleeting journey, as we tread this earthly ground, Let’s pause to cherish those whose love and care abound. For tomorrow’s promises may never come to be, Leaving regrets and yearnings for what we failed to see.

Let’s invest in people while they walk this earthly plain, Lending a helping hand, alleviating their pain. For waiting until tomorrow may be too late, And our chance to make a difference could meet an uncertain fate.

What if tomorrow never dawns upon our sight? Leaving our deeds undone, lost in the fading light. Let’s seize the moment, embrace the present’s call, And shower love and kindness, ensuring no one shall fall.

So let’s appreciate the souls who grace our days, And sow seeds of compassion in life’s intricate maze. For in the end, it’s the love we give and share, that makes life’s journey meaningful and fair.

So let this tale be a guiding light, to cherish the living with all our might. For in the end, when all is said and done, Let love’s legacy shine, like the morning sun.
