1-The One
Sonia's POV
Bored, absolutely bored out of my mind. Here I was wearing an attractive dress in an exclusive club of this city. (The Dodgers) which is currently owned by my cousin Nina & her partner, Amy Martin. Yep, they are married, my cousin Nina is lesbian while Amy was bisexual & divorced 3 years ago. Amy is still in contact with her ex due to joint custody of her 2 sons. They have been introduced to not only Nina but also to our families. That story is for later though, time for into, my name is Sonia Dean. Been living with Nina & Amy for 2 years in their penthouse. I wanted to live independently but Nina refused to hear no for an answer & surprisingly for once my strict father agreed with her. Before I could attend any college I've taking classes online for both arts & science. So far my grades are a bit above average one could call me a nerd. Anyway right now I'm drowning my sorrows by drinking nonalcoholic cocktail. Long story short, I've been not only been stood up but also dumped. At the age of 24 so to speak, nothing new & still a virgin. I sigh softly glancing at the activity of the club which has mellowed down a bit. A few couples were either dancing or making out, jeez. A tall brunette behind the bar came to me with a soft smile.
Nina: "Hey, sweetie, how are you you holding up?"
I simply shrug indifferently while fiddling with the car keys while sipping my drink. Just then a loud annoying squeal literally made me jump before a bubbly looking blonde comes near us. Wearing a tight beige color short dress which shows most of her cleavage at the age of 20. Imogen Fisher, she & Amy are half-sisters by sharing a mother. She is also living with us in her soundproof room, if you get my picture.
Imogen: "Whee, I'm feeling it burn, baby, burn! C'mon now little wallflower join the fun & shake your little booty."
I wince as she whoops again, definitely drunk again, I notice Nina smile sheepishly as I roll my eyes. Ugh!
Nina: "Perk up, Sony, no need to feel depressed again besides there is someone out there for you. Who shall love you for who you are, I'm sure of it."
Imogen:(Snorts)"Someone out there for this wallflower, puhlease, but look over there at Bobby. He hasn't taken his eyes off you since you came in, girl."
I turned to look, sure enough there was Bobby serving some customers. He is a year older than me, tall, tanned with sandy blond hair. Sure in the beginning he tried flirting with me but I gently let him know that I didn't feel the connection. After that we have become friends sort of like a brother from another mother. He is a good guy but his family lives in Texas.
Imogen: "Ooh! Mama Mia, I want one of those or both would do."
Then she starts primping herself by touching her hair, redoing her makeup even arranging her dress to show extra cleavage. Next to Nina's hazel eyes widens gaping at something over my shoulder. I frown as I turn to look & woah, that moment I wished that if I were a cartoon character my eyes would pop out of my sockets, checking out those 2 extremely handsome men. Both seem more than 6 foot, tall dark handsome. Well one of them was, he was wearing black biker outfit with some Gothic touch. His hair was long, silky black like ink there was a look of concern in his bright blue eyes as he gazed at his friend. Wait a minute, am I imagining it or his eyes were actually glowing. His friend had long curly blonde hair, tanned skin & blue eyes. The biker then follows his gaze to out direction then he begins to smile. Frowning, I glanced around to see what or who they are staring at, I see Imogen bringing out her smoldering look. Then those two head towards us, taking it as my cue to leave. I pick up my car keys, signaling Nina that I was heading back, she nods. I quickly brush pass the two men heading for the exit. Taking a deep breath of fresh air once stepping out, then I let it out. Sighing, I started to walk to my car the red Bentley, Imogen was it's previous owner before she *graciously handed it to me*. After wrecking it a couple of times might I add, despite that I didn't complain. I knew a bit about cars & it's engineering process thanks to my older brother Ryder. I've been using it for almost a year now. As soon as I insert the key to open the door someone grabs my other hand in a warm grasp. This caused me jump in fright, I see myself looking into the blue eyes of tall blond man. This close I notice that he had a slight stubble on his handsome face plus his scent reminds me of vanilla cookies. Seriously!
Man: "I'm sorry, Miss, didn't mean to startle you like this. But we just want to talk to you."
God, his deep voice was like melted chocolate I subtly glance at his friend who, unfortunately, caught my gaze. He had this odd glimpse in his bright blue eyes as he smirked.
Man: "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Lucifer Morningstar & this is my partner, Hades Cronus. What is your name my dear?"
Not sure why but these two look kinda familiar to me but can't remember.
Sonia:(Clears my throat)"Oh, my name is Sonia Dean, sir. Pleased to meet you."
Lucifer:(Kisses my hand)"A lovely name for such a lovely girl."
As I blush at his gentlemanly behavior, behind him I see his friend roll his eyes. Again he caught me staring at him the look in his eyes began to turn into some kind of an emotion which sent a shiver down my spine. Not the unpleasant kind mind you.
Lucifer:(Elbows him)"Cut it out, Hades, you are making the girl nervous here."
Hades:(Scowls)"Aw, c'mon now, Lucy, she reminds of one of Theo's adorable cats. They had the same beautiful brown eyes that makes you want to coddle it forever in your arms. You it was one of my favorites."
Lucifer groans as I ponder on what Hades meant, then he winks at me.
Lucifer: "Anyway, the reason we came to you is..."
I flinch as I hear that familiar squealing noise, Lucifer frowns just as Imogen comes running to us. She bumped against Hades who jumps back as if electrified.
Imogen: "Hey, there handsomes, the name's Imogen by the way. This wallflower's best also available friend. Ready to have some fun & to party."
I inwardly groan as she tries to get their undivided attention. This is going to take a while.
