Slow burn
"The Ruined Luna is an interesting read. I’ve read 17 chapters and am definitely interested to read more. The beginning of the story pulled me in quickly with Jo’s narrative and history, making me curious about what really happened and what future awaits her in her new pack. Since coming to the new pack, the story builds more slowly but there is interesting plot and strong characters that kept me engaged and invested. I love being able to to read/ see the internal changes going on for the main character, trust being put in her and the relationships building. The characters in this story are all really well written. Each character has their own personality and dynamics with each other (love love love Tripp!!). The author did an amazing job of creating characters you care about almost immediately, especially as it relates to Jo. If you’re looking for an immediate romance, this is not that. At chapter 17, the romance is not yet the focus of the story however we are starting to get signs/descriptions of the feelings. There’s definitely some jealousy and questioning the feelings to themselves occurring. It’s definitely a slow burn, but my guess is once the romance does start it’s going to really pull you in because you really know the characters. Overall, this is a really interesting, slow burn that keeps you invested in the story. The author does an great job at world and character building. "

"It's a little slow for the first five chapters or so, but once you really start to get to know the main character, you become instantly hooked. I like the pacing, nothing seems rushed. Really looking forward to seeing how this goes and I see a lot of potential for a pretty long story. Hats off to the writer."
