Prologue

Now...

“Quiet, please,” said the judge in a loud voice. “This is a courtroom we’re in, not a zoo.” People kept fighting over the story on the news, in the public, on social media, and even in the courtroom. Victoria Blane’s murder was not taken as a joke, or was it all a big joke?

You guys are new here, so let me run it back for you. In a small town called Rivervine, which was abandoned by its citizens due to a tornado that swept them all away and was refounded by its new founding fathers—The Blanes, The Davids, The Loveborns, and The Roses—lived a girl, or, as I should say, a sassy bitch who thought she owned the world and everyone in it.

That woman is Victoria Blane. Victoria was presumed dead in the summer of 2023, and her body hadn’t been found yet. The story had it that Victoria was killed by her friends. Some say she was killed by her own father, but no one could tell what the true story was until now, but why the rush... let’s put you up to speed.
