Chapter 1
Cassie Dimitrescu was annoying as shit.
Bela and Daniela were too--the trio of sisters all annoying. But Cassie took the fucking cake.
They always say that those who tend to bother you must have a crush on you or something anyway--but if that were the case, she’d have the biggest fucking crush on you.
She was particularly relentless alone, but altogether, the girls were merciless. Besides this most recent time, you could always count on them for some nasty prank. Oftentimes than not, you returned home covered in something. It was more or less disgusting depending on the week’s day. They teased; taunted; pulled hair and clothes. They took turns pushing you in between the three of them until you fell and they could start jumping you together.
It must have been the world’s biggest fucking crush. You stared at yourself in the reflection of the classroom window; holding the bag of frozen peas over your eye as you sat in detention. Veering off too far to the left, you would see the mess you left them in for once. The puppy love ended here.
When asked what happened, the four of you collectively said that you all fought. But it had been more than just a fight, hadn’t it? And for some reason, none of them said a word, now meaning that you too were sworn and tethered under some filthy oath of secrecy. The event turned over in your mind again and again as you could still hear Principal Bryan’s voice, What happened here?’
It was as if your brain had been responding, ‘Here’s what happened:’
You should’ve known something was up at the pep rally. In hindsight now, you were sure they called themselves “warning you”. You took your seat on the bleachers, the music growling through the hall and reverberating from off the walls. The entire gymnasium felt like you went to school inside a speaker.
“Let me see you pop that thang! Shake that booty--do the break!”
The Dimitrescu sisters led the cheerleading trio out, Cassandra in the middle of them, landing every move of the stupid squad’s routine as if she were some diluted Regina George. Her sisters followed behind her, Bela and Daniela rhythmically turning to one another and lifting Cassandra with ease, the student body roaring as the rest of the cheerleaders strutted to their places and began to pump it synchronously, making for a row of dancing girls with each lasting hip a second delayed from the last. So this is where most of the school’s budget went?
“Let me hear you say--doo-doo brown! Doo-doo brown! Doo-doo brown!”
Duke High School wasn’t the worst high school--or at least, the academics weren’t what made it bad. Most graduates from this high school went on easily to any Ivy League in the country, hell--the most prestigious institution (in the world for some). Bullying hadn’t even been what made the school. It was the damn entitlement. The lack of accountability and responsibility went into regulating people like the Dimitrescu sisters. Your parents contribute the biggest percentage to the PTA, and you’re a walking god. There were no rules for them; no punishments, until now.
You pulled out your phone--careful for the teachers not to see it. If they hadn’t threatened to confiscate phones now, you would have put on one of your stories and gone to sleep in the bathroom. You just wanted to see the time--it had already been 45 minutes. When the fuck did the rally end anyway? I guess Cassie must have seen you from her throne in the air. She looked to you and she made a finger delicately under her chin, hiding it with a pose before lifting her athletic legs in front of her, and her butt catch perfectly in their arms. They would bounce her back onto the floor, and the three and their troupe would lead the rest.
“Shake them thangs, baby! Shake, shake--them things baby. Sh-shake them things, baby!--”
Girls screamed as the trio followed the direction of their hips with their hands, moving their hands as if to mix a bowl before slapping their thighs and lifting their cheerleading skirts ever so slightly to show their lollipops. Finally, the basketball players entered the court. She had thrown t-shirts into the crowd, the t-shirts each time nearly hitting your face if not for some excited student grabbing them before they could reach your vicinity. You went to go to the bathroom, not realizing that they would only follow after you within a few moments.
You tried to fight Daniela off, the girls laughing menacingly as she held your wrists, the three of them watching your body squirm. Bela took your legs when you nearly kicked Cassandra and separated them, Daniela and Cassandra hiking your skirt up and exposing your underwear. You screamed, Cassie, covering your mouth and holding you up against her hold and squirming when she locked her arms around you. The sound of the small pocketknife Daniela switched out made silence ensue. You watched the blade, Cassie holding you now with one arm, and pulling her phone out with the other, giggling all the while as she took a selfie with you, and then began to scroll. The blue light shined in your eyes as she held the phone close enough to make you kiss it.
“’ Did’ya write this, you little dyke bitch?” Cassie grabbed you by the chin and held you up to see the phone clearly, now adjusting it so that you could read. She had read it, and her eyes narrowed the moment your smile spread a bit wider. It had been an email from Principal Lewis calling for a meeting after reading your extensive and graphically-worded letter.
“I told you to pay me, didn’t I?”
Bela retorted by punching you in the stomach hard, you would have fallen to the floor had not Cassie held your hands, Daniela urging your body up with her foot resting in between your thighs. She tapped it impatiently, frowning as she threatened to kick you, Cassie squeezing your chin.
“And I told you, my mom took away my credit cards for two weeks.”
“And I told you that wasn’t my fucking problem--!”
Daniela went to slap you, but Cassie stopped her hand.
“No--don’t. We’re fucked--we leave any bruises on this bitch, and we’re done for…”
You smiled. Finally, some kind of retribution and leverage were held against the Dimitrescu trio. They’ve bullied you since day one. During freshman year, they started a rumor that you were offering to suck off girls in the bathroom for $20. And then they moved a block over from you. And then they saw junior year, that you had a girlfriend who went to that public school for ‘inner-city rejects’ and tormented you ever since. She hadn’t even been a long-term girlfriend. She took you out of your memories when she choked you.
“And then what when I show Principal Bryan that you’re extorting us? I’d have the receipts to prove it.”
“And then we all get expelled for plagiarism.” You dared despite your rasping voice.
“You ready to risk Harvard yet?”
“Are you? Bribing the dean’s gonna cost extra!”
“You disrespectful bitch!” Cassie held your wrists apart as Daniela slit your shirt open, the buttons popping as if plastic kernels. You tried to fight them, but Daniela had cut right through the boning of your bra, your wrists inching within Cassie’s grasp as you felt the cold air hit your chest, your nipples hardening at the cold brisk win peaking into the bathroom stall.
“I know how to fix, jealous, obsessed, lesbian bitches like you!” Cassandra laughed. You tried to squirm, but on Cassie’s cue, Bela launched her leg back and stopped at her call, all the same, Daniela laughing at your cowardly legs. And thus began the summer that changed your life.
“Stop it! Stop it--get off!”
She had struggled you to the ground, laughing and scooting so that she would land on your chest, squatting as Daniela forced you down. You tried to scream when she lifted the hem of her skirt, and let it fall as she sat her sweaty lollipops on your face, Your scream muffled in between her thighs. Daniela took control of your wrists, pinning them firmly to the ground. Bela, separated your legs, cradling them and running her fingertips over your dampened panties, giggling ecstatically as she exclaimed,
“Look at how wet you are! You’re fucking disgusting!”
“You liked being dom'd by women, don’t you, you little freak? We can help with that…”
“You wouldn’t dare! Get off! Get off!”
