Prologue
It was loud. The group of tourists rushed from their previous destination to another, the tour guides rambling the same stories and jokes they had told before in a way no one would notice. Or so they thought. The school kids munching on their ice creams on the way back home, and the workers-or may we call them corporate slaves-rushing to queue up for the line at the coffee shop. Welcome to Lumina, the heart of Argentum. Known for its silicion valley and beautiful scenery and dark academia style architecture lumina was the perfect city for everyone but especially the wet dream of any blogger.
Near the heart of the city amidst the cute coffee shops and wild tourist attractions lived the Morgans. Or, well, what was left of them. Once an influential family known for their endless contributions to society, the towering figures of Lumina got torn apart by their own internal conflicts.
The Morgans were renowned as a family of scientists, each one a great help to the city’s current technology. That is, until Owen Morgan decided to add a bit of spice to the family lore and marry Bethany. Bethany Evans.
One thing about the Morgans and the Evanses was that they hated each other. They never directly named it, but the tension had always been there since the beginning of their corps; both of them had been fighting for the ranks.
The enmity halted when the only son of the Morgans decided to engage in courtship with the sole heir of the Evanses. They had no intention of perpetuating the family feud. Instead, they quietly abandoned their inherited duties, choosing to marry. As a result, what was once a prominent and influential family now finds itself somewhat known for their baked goods, tucked away in a quiet corner of the city.
Well, the Morgans and Evans might not be at their former glories, but out of this unexpected bond, Finn Morgan and Seren Morgan were born. But why might this be important, you might ask? Blinded by the love story of her parents, Seren Morgan, freshly graduated from university, was out hunting for her own kind of love story.
This is the tale of one who sought her adversary beyond the moon’s reach.
