"The story is interesting and engaging, with several unique twists on the genre and two interesting lead characters. I must admit I have little experience with the shifter subgenre, but this story managed to pique my interest and I'm sure I will continue reading. The story does fall a bit short in the grammar department—it occasionally drifts between 1st- and 3rd-person, and between present- and past-tense. Even so, this did not majorly impact my enjoyment personally, and I was still able to follow and engage with the story. A fun read overall. Looking forward to more!"
