Part 1
It’s a bright and beautiful day. The sun is warm and the sky is blue. Two wolves, Kurai and Kage are out to play. Their mother warned them to be back soon.
Kurai is the oldest of the two. Kage is a year younger. The two are regular ordinary wolves. However, everything was soon to change.
“Look how beautiful it is today,” Kage comments, blinking in the sunlight.
“It’s a bit too bright, honestly,” Kurai says with a scoff.
“Well, we better enjoy it, day only lasts so long…unless it were Summer time,” Kage says with a grin.
“Yeah…summer, good ol’ summer…”Kurai murmurs, stretching out in a patch of grass.
It very well may be summer. The sun beaming down raised the temperature to about 80 degrees. The deep blue of the sky is like the ocean. Like waves crashing upon a sunny beach. Kurai stares at the sky, thinking of what to do.
“Wanna play some wolf games?” Kage asks, wagging her tail.
“Wolf games? Such as…?” Kurai asks.
“Oh, I don’t know. Something the two of us could enjoy,” Kage says.
“Eating contest, perhaps?” Kurai suggests.
Kurai is quite notorious for her endless appetite. She can eat A LOT! Kage knows this and has tried to rival her. Also, Kurai has plenty of experience with challenges like this.
“You and food, Kurai. I swear, you’re always thinking about eating,” Kage says with a laugh.
“There’s nothing I love more…” Kurai says with a longing sigh. “I can see it now… A juicy rabbit in my mouth…in my belly, even.”
“I don’t think mom’s gonna be happy if you eat. With food time coming soon and all,” Kage comments. “Especially not a rabbit.”
“Well, too bad. Next rabbit I see…I swear…I’m gonna catch it and eat it,” Kurai says with a confident nod.
“Oh yeah? What if I were a rabbit?” Kage teases.
Kurai rolls to her feet. Kage laughs, not expecting such a dramatic response. Quickly, Kurai pounces on Kage. She swallows her little sister.
“And THAT is what I’d do if I saw a rabbit!” Kurai says and belches.
“Aw come on! I was only joking! I’m not actually a rabbit!” Kage’s muffled voice cries out.
“Mmm, you are tasty, though,” Kurai says.
The older of the two sits upright on her haunches. Playfully, she slaps her belly with her paws. Her massive belly writhes like a living trash bag. Kage is beginning to panic, trapped within her sister.
“Okay, let me out!” Kage screams.
“Hah hah hah, no! I don’t think so,” Kurai says.
“LET ME OUT! MOM! MOOOOOOM! KURAI ATE ME AGAIN!” Kage wails.
“Okay, okay! Shush!” Kurai says.
Kurai promptly spits Kage up. Frequently, these two get into tussles and Vore each other. Yes, Vore… The act of swallowing another individual or object whole and (if not an object) alive.
“Blegh! I hate it when you do that…” Kage grumbles.
“No you don’t. You love it,” Kurai says, licking Kage’s sticky wet head.
“Careful, I might return the favor,” Kage threatens.
“Nuh-uh!”
“Yuh-huh!”
“Nuh-uh!”
Kurai stops a moment and belches. She swallowed a lot of air when she swallowed Kage. The younger wolf waits patiently to continue bickering. The battle of few words continues!
“Yuh-huh!”
“Nuh-uh!”
“Yuh-huh!”
“Girls!” it’s their mother, Suisen!
“Oh, hiiiii, mom!” Kurai says, smiling innocently.
“She ate me earlier!” Kage cries out.
“I did not!” Kurai lies.
“Enough! I’m almost done making lunch. I only came here because I heard you two bickering!” Suisen says.
“Ooooooh! Lunch!” both girls exclaim. They look each other in the eyes a moment. Then, they burst out laughing.
“So you two better behave. Don’t wander too far, either. I’ve been hearing rumors about the barrier between worlds. It’s getting kinda saggy lately,” Suisen says, ominously.
“Wha-“ Kurai replies.
“I’m joking, but do be careful,” Suisen prompts.
“Okay, mom!” both younger wolves call out in unison again.
Suisen returns to the inside of the house. The girls then look for something to do while waiting. Kurai’s nose twitches, picking up on a scent. Kage’s ears go up suddenly, also noticing the same thing.
“You said something about a rabbit?” Kage whispers.
“Yeah, I did…” Kurai says, falling into hunting position.
“I’m gonna catch it first! And then I can eat it!” Kage announces.
“Well, if you catch it and eat it… I’ll just have to catch and eat you!” Kurai says and licks Kage teasingly.
“Oh, it’s on…” Kage says, also falling into hunting stance.
Carefully, the two wolves stalk through the grass. They stop just short of being able to pounce. Their prey, a yellow bunny, notices them. Quick as can be, the bunny begins to hop away. Kurai growls in annoyance and chases after the rabbit.
“He’s getting away!” Kage wails, picking up her speed.
The two wolves abandon their yard. This is further than Suisen would approve of. They make a mad dash through the woods. Now, they are much deeper in the woods. Still, that yellow bunny continues fleeing. Kage leaps over Kurai’s head and nearly catches the rabbit.
Kage yelps and skids to a stop. Kurai comes bounding in shortly after. She halts, noticing why Kage has ceased her chase. The yellow rabbit has leapt right into a magic portal!
