Prologue
I stood there on the mountain listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall behind me.I took a deep breath and laid down on the rocks, they were hot but I didn’t care.I lay there looking up at the sky; the clouds zoomed by and swirled like kids playing in the yard.The birds were gracefully swooping around and gliding through the sky like angels as they flew.Then I noticed something amazing……..
Hold on I’m getting ahead of myself, my name is Jeff Lockler and I’m an old man. I’ve had a good life and one might find bizarre!As crazy as it may be it’s a true story, and a story I want to tell you.It goes like this, the best day of my life was when I said hello to my son, and the worst day of my life was when I said goodbye.
