What is your opinion?

The Wind"s Incomplete Unrest

"Overall I like the beginning of your story. It tells me that there is turmoil in the life of this small family and clearly there will be more. I want to know who they are, where they are, and why they are. I find the story confusing at this stage. And you are having some difficulty with style. You will need to rethink your use of adjectives and adverbs such as "ringing tone" when all you really need is "ringing" or perhaps change "emitting a nostalgic gleam" to "emitting a certain nostalgia" when referring to the boy's coat. "Ascending on to his bare back" is a lofty way of saying, " he climbed onto the horse's bare back." Most of this sort of thing would be caught by an editor while proofreading. Overall I like where the story is heading, But at this stage, I can't quite figure out the meaning of your title. You have a good grasp of the language, but sometimes it's better to keep it simple to get your meaning across. I want to read more, and I hope you will publish more of this story. I want to find out where you are going with it, and hope to learn more about your characters."
