Epílogo.

Sus manos, pequeñas y algo maltratadas, no mostraban piedad alguna al arrancar aquellas flores azuladas que florecían entre los hierbajos. Con una sonrisa maliciosa, movía su cabeza al ritmo de la melodía que tarareaba en un tono tan bajo que ni las abejas a su alrededor eran perturbadas por el sonido.

Satisfecha con la cantidad de flores en sus manos, se puso de pie y comenzó a caminar por la superficie con césped, sin otorgar importancia al sonido de las pisadas provenientes de la barrera que creaban los árboles hasta la cerca que daba inicio a terrenos de la granja. Cruzando la cerca, siguió ordenando las flores en sus manos.

— Había una vez, siguiendo un río, un niño se perdía en su oscuro... brillo. —improvisaba una breve canción tratando de conectar palabras, mientras caminaba por el campo hasta llegar a la entrada de la granja— Un zombi lo vio y con fuerza lo tomó, y en la noche silenciosa su destino se selló.

Las pocas miradas presentes se mantenían sobre ella, mientras por su parte la niña se dedicaba a caminar con su vista en el pequeño ramo de flores que cargaba consigo, demostrando conocer aquella casa lo suficientemente bien. Entrando a una habitación, un hombre mayor le indicó a una señora que la llevase fuera, ella observó sin comprender.

— Le he traído flores. —informó con una dulce sonrisa.
