Chapter 1: FORGOTTEN
â (Sneak peak. The book will be finished soon) â
It was night when I awoke. The rain fell & the moon was high.
I used what energy I had to eat a stale cut of bread. iâm weak and tired...but itâs time to try again.
Another full moon passes indicating itâs the third year of being in this forsaken pile of marble that be my dwelling.
If I attempt this I must once again release any attachment to this realm. Which shouldnât be difficult considering this is the only thing I care about.
Iâve given up everything for it. All the jewels, gems, gold, and silver a person requires to be deemed the wealthy: the elite. I have. Though it will soon be released back to where it was acquired.
No thoughts or physical restrictions can hold me back now⌠I must move on.
I take the book: nameless & humble yet indestructible. itâs physical properties are fixed and the matter that composes it has been altered to be unaffected by any such force created by man or earth.
After putting it in my leather pouch along with six white candles, chock, and a vile of black blood I leave out my window facing the garden. Itâs cold and the rain poors fast. I donât dare look at the flowers for theyâve been forgotten & seeing them brings a flood of memories.
the memories of all the people & things Iâve coldly given up to pursue my destiny.
I walk through mud and rain till I pass a large olive tree that leads to a cliff and looked out to the ocean. On a distant island lays the ruins of the religion.
In the middle of eight large pillars stands a beautiful goddess made of marble and steps leading up to her. To the far right, past the acropolis is a cave thatâs accessible in the right conditions and only known by a select few. This is where I will be traveling to.
