Personality: Calculative, very good at reading people and situations from both a non-combat and combat perspective. Closed off, Selfless and Caring. Mature. Unyielding determination and Will to push through Any wall before him. Closet Pervert (he knows how to control his urges in public). But beneath All of this, he still has doubts and fears that plague him due to events that happened when he was a child that have scared him emotionally and mentally. Thus Causing a mental block where his mental and emotional health are involved.
He likes training, fighting, his family, movies, traditional Japanese music, heavy metal, reading, shogi, kenjutsu, and martial arts. He also likes People who accept a person based on their deeds, not their bloodline, and people who can see their weaknesses and move past them to improve. Issei is a Battle and Training Mainiac like his Father, Toji.
Dislikes: Arrogant Assholes, Spoiled Brats, People who expect everything to be handed to them because of their status. Weak people who give up too quickly. Liars and Manipulators. Those who go against basic decency and honour codes simply because of their status. Two-faced people and those who hide behind a Façade to undermine others. His two most hated things are people who belittle those purely based on heritage and their bloodline and Warriors or people who have tremendous potential but never act on it because, for whatever reason, they believe they don’t need to train to improve. Abilities and Powers
Enhanced Senses: Due to being Half Shirokami, Issei has enhanced hearing, eyesight, taste, touch, and Aura Perception. These go far beyond that of ordinary humans; he can see, hear, feel, and even taste the natural flow of energy that the dragon veins produce, the planet’s life force used within Senjutsu and Yojutsu.
As with all Yokai, the nature of their enhanced senses depends on their type of Yokai; for Issei, his Senses are among the strongest within the Yokai race due to the training he received from his Father, Toji. They were raised to the same level as a pureblood Shirokami.
Enhanced Strength, Speed, and Reflexes: Due to his Half Youkai side, Issei’s Body was more sturdy than an average human’s; this allowed him, through the insane Training of his Father and later Ddraig, to push past his preconceived limits, thus increasing his Strength, Speed, and reflexes to a crazy degree. His Strength was on par with Sairaorg Bael’s when he released his restraints (without Issei using the Boosted gear).
His Speed is so great that he can use it to create after-images that are physical until attacked; with the manipulation of his Senjutsu, he can cause these After-images to be utilized for the offence. as a Tactic to confuse his opponents. This is due to his yokai blood, as he is Half Raiju, and as thunder beasts, they are fast as lightning.
Due to his Yokai Senses and use of Senjutsu, his reaction time is at a level that the untrained eye would see as precognition, as he can dodge at the last second as he can sense the attack coming. However, strong opponents can overcome his senses with faster reactions or barrage attacks; attacks from those above him in skill and power are much more brutal for him to read as an example. His Father, Toji, can quickly get through his senses and thus hit him. (Others that can get past these senses include anyone trained in Senjutsu, Sairaorg, Any Leader Class Supernatural entity, and anyone above the average of high to Ultimate Class devils, though some in this range will have a good chance to surprise him due to their personality and if they have trained to attain higher than the bare minimum needed to be in these categories. This would include those outside this default ranking with specific Sacred gears, like Cao Cao. ) In this situation, Issei must focus on his opponent more intently to ensure he can dodge when necessary.
Immense Durability and Stamina: He developed Insane, almost outlandish Durability and pain tolerance from training, taking straight hits from his Father Toji, who, when training him, refused to hold back due to his son’s request and the pride inside him towards Issei’s Determination. to many the way Toji training his son would have looked like abuse too the highest degree in the beginning, he would pound on Issei at maximum Strength in hand to hand and Kenjutsu training, a Full grown man against a ten-year-old. But this was what Issei needed and Asked for. He worked to the bone and now has an Unbelievable level of Durability and stamina without using his Touki or Senjutsu Skills. If he were to use those, the amount of Durability and Stamina he has would be laughable.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Through the countless amounts of Hellish Training and fighting his Father Toji put him through at his request after the death of his mother, he has become a master of hand-to-hand combat. Seeing as Toji is the Captain of the Royal Guard for the East Yokai faction, he drilled every form of hand-to-hand combat he was a master of in Issei. This included judo, Jujutsu, Kendo, Kenjutsu, Taijutsu. Issei’s Spirit and Fighting Style led him to master Kendo, Kenjutsu, Taijutsu, Jujitsu, Aikido and Judo relatively quickly. One could say he was a genius in the martial arts. Or it was that his Father’s Training was so gruelling that he mastered what he was taught through instinct and pain.
Master In Stealth: Issei is a master at stealth. He is so highly trained in stealth that he can completely erase his aura, scent, and the sound of all his movements. The only way he can be found is if you physically see him when he is not using Yojutsu illusions to make himself invisible to every sense. However, Issei’s personality leans towards always preferring a straightforward approach, so he rarely uses this skill unless the mission calls for it.
Senjutsu: Senjutsu is the power to control the flow of life energy or Ki in living beings. Using it can strengthen their internal and external bodies or cause vegetation around them to bloom or wither. Senjutsu users can sense the Ki and auras of others, thus letting them track targets from far away distances. It can be used to see through illusions by detecting the flow of the spirit or Ki of others.
Senjutsu is also capable of dealing interior damage to others by targeting their blood vessels and internal organs, and by disrupting the Ki of their opponent’s Ki or severing it, it is possible to cause direct damage to their spirit and life force and use this as an attack could result in killing their opponent. As such, there are very few ways to defend against Senjutsu. Senjutsu can be utilized to disrupt the aura of others, thereby preventing them from using their abilities. Senjutsu is also capable of forcefully putting others to sleep. By controlling the Ki of others, Senjutsu can be utilized to extract curses and poisons from their bodies. Senjutsu can also be used to hide one’s presence and avoid detection.
Senjutsu also has healing capabilities that are effective for either one’s physical or mental condition, relieving fatigue and restoring one’s lifespan. However, this method requires physical contact. Bouchujutsu (Bedroom method) is the best and fastest method of using the healing abilities of Senjutsu; this method is used whenever a woman who specializes in using Ki shares her Ki with the man and heals their life force to a greater extent. Senjutsu can also be utilized to increase others’ luck by controlling the flow of their Ki.
Youjutsu: Youjutsu is a magic power unique to, revolving around the manipulation of Youki ( to cause various mystical effects ranging from producing poisons, barriers, Illusions and Elemental Manipulation, granted his ability to manipulate his blue fire comes from his Father’s bloodline
Touki: Touki is, in essence, the external manifestation of one’s life force, in other words, their Ki, which would be wrapped around them as an aura. Using this, a person achieves heightened offence, defence, and Speed. It also had the added effect of damaging others from the slightest touch and defending a user from a wide array of attacks while knocking back their foes.
Dragon Aura (to be unlocked): Due to possessing the Boosted Gear, Issei has a large dragon aura. Training with Yu-long increased the ability to deal with decent damage using Boosted Gear. He gained Access to Training with the Dragon king through his being Son Wukong’s student; he also had to promise Yu-long a large number of his favourite foods in exchange for the training, but as time went on, he and the Eastern Dragon gained a very close friendship. From what he and Yu-Long discovered, Issei’s dragon aura is blue and grey, like a living thundercloud with lightning strikes going through it.

When Channeling his Yokai lightning, the blade becomes Unparraled and can even cut through lightning; this blade was forged by his Father, Toji Hyoudou, and Blessed by the Shinto gods at the shrine his mother used to reside at to honour her. These blades are incredibly precious to Issei.
Shikigami (Art Done By ArtificialFox): Shiro & Kagero
When Issei was young, he was playing in the woods, and he found two wolf cubs that were seemingly abandoned. He ran home carrying them; upon entering his house, Toji, his Father, was Amazed at what he saw in Issei’s arms. The young Half Breed found two extraordinary Supernatural wolf pups while playing; after explaining to his mother and Father how and where he saw them, they went to Queen Yasaka. She asked the young Half Wolf to bring the pups forward when they told her what Issei had found. He was nervous that she would take them away, but he did as he was told. When she saw them, she was amazed. The two young cubs Radiated energy of perfect balance, but one was pure as the driven snow, and the other was pitch black. They took this as a blessing and allowed Issei to keep and raise them. He called the white wolf Shiro and the Black one Kagero, and they have been by his side ever since and have only gotten more powerful as they age and grow alongside Issei.
