So much better than expected
"I came across this book while on the hunt for some LOTR fanfic and was horrified that anyone would make such a story. I mean, it’s a ridiculous idea, right? But I couldn’t find anything else I liked and so I begrudgingly came back to it, at the very least so I could make fun of it to my husband. I’m a jerk, and I was wrong. This book is freaking awesome. It’s so spectacularly well written and I am loving every single chapter. It’s worth it. SO SO very worth it. Read it and you won’t be disappointed. It’s moving, and a perfect combination of the books and movies, with such a realistic and lovable main OC. It’s one of those books I wish desperately I had a hard copy of for my bookshelf."

"MimiLind has the ability to create fantastic spiderwebs of different characters, their ways and their lives. In this story, she bested herself - again and again. Kat is a wonderful figure and her story is mesmerising, staying in your head for a long, long time. I can only recommend “Cat of the Fellowship” to every Tolkien-fan who won’t be content with the tales he wrote. If you admire good stories, this one absolutely will catch you and soon, you can’t imagine the Fellowship of the Ring without a small feline companion joining them.
