Todos los libros empezaban con un “érase una vez” ahora la gran mayoría comienza con “esta historia no es como las otras” Pero esto no es ni una cosa, ni la otra…sino ambas y por lo tanto empieza así: Érase una vez, una historia diferente a las demás… Iris siempre se consideró una chica normal, con una gran pasión por los libros de fantasía, unos padres amorosos y dos hermanos pequeños por los que daría su vida. La vida de la chica siempre fue normal...hasta aquel día. En menos de un día, los dos chicos que no soportaba, junto a la misteriosa mujer que había conocido, le habían salvado la vida y la habían llevado a un mundo lleno de magia como en sus libros solo para decirle que... ¡Era la futura diosa del agua! Jamás pensó en que se convertiría en una de las protagonistas de su género de novela favorito.

Zoido/Ayser: 18 años. Guardian del reino de Rilum, fue al mundo humano con un nombre falso, no le gustan que le contradigan y le encanta molestar a Iris.

Kian/Ates: 19 años. Guardian del reino del fuego, fue al mundo humano con un nombre falso, no le gusta que se burlen de las costumbres de su pueblo y le gusta ver a Iris leer.

Caenum: Edad desconocida. Maestro de agua y el mejor diseñador del mundo (según él)

Vape: 25 años. Princesa del reino de Rilum y actual gobernante.

Navi: 50 años. Consejero real de la princesa, esposo de Alistar.

Alistar: 50 años. General del ejército de Rilum, esposo de Navi.

Naphidas:19 años. Soldado del ejército de Dixa.

Rilum: Nombre del reino del Agua.

Dixa: Nombre del reino de la Tierra.

Lamias y Damas del agua: Dos razas diferentes de ninfas acuáticas que viven en zonas de agua dulce, principalmente en lagos, siempre son mujeres y pueden ver el futuro, actualmente protegen las distintas entradas del reino de Rilum.
