As Her Feathers Fall— AMAZING!
"To any who may be reading this review, I highly recommend this book. It is unlike any other I’ve read, and I can easily say it is one of the best stories I have read online—anywhere. It invokes thinking, and the author’s beautiful usage and weaving of metaphors throughout the text gives it an almost lifted feeling. It seems like the readers themselves are flying on the wings of the words while reading the story. The book allows for not only an escape from the real world, but an entry into a new one, which may not be perfect for the main characters, but one full of hope. The grammar is perfect, and the plot is unlike any other I’ve seen. It’s a beautiful story of romance, but unlike many others, it is not only circling that, but the inner conflict of a young soul who isn’t ready to settle down, even if they’ve found the person they eventually want to do it with. This story moved my heart, and several times I found myself having to take a break from reading because I couldn’t handle the emotions the story was invoking. While it may be a relatively short read, it is certainly worth the reader’s time. I found myself wondering where it might fit in in the publishing world. While it isn’t long enough to be a novel, I wondered if it might qualify as a short story or a novella. I can see this story being assigned to high school students as a night’s homework, and the students dissecting it in their English class the next day. Every word seems to have an extra layer of meaning, which I found thoughtful and a refreshing break from the typical adventure books I read. Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a way to explore their emotions outside of the real world, or simply looking for a quick read. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. "

"I felt like crying when the story came to an end 😭 it's a beautiful story and it taught me things--that love makes one accept another's weaknesses, that love is not something you can't deny for a long time. I feel like love is a beautiful, scary thing. I can relate to Maegan, and she's my favorite character so far ❤ I found myself once thinking, "How is that a scary thing to already have someone to be called home, to feel loved?" And I know the answer now. But it won't be a permanent thing. The author really knew what they were doing while writing this story. I feel content and my eyes, heart, and mind are opened (hopefully) fully now ❤ thanks for the journey, author!"

"The novel is romantic. It has a good start. The writing style is satisfying, it gives a passive feel. Several grammar issues pertaining to punctuation and word skipping are evident though. Overall, the plot is like a fairy tale. I like the take a ways from the author's figurative speech and general talk of life."
