Summary

Nombreux sont ceux qui accusent les innocents, qui les enferment et les jugent sans procès... Valentine de Renese est jugée pour sorcellerie, mais alors que les flammes se rapprochent de son corps, elle aperçoit un cheval ailé sur les toits, et perd connaissance. Lorsqu'elle se réveille, elle semble être en sécurité, et est forcée de suivre celui qui l'a sauvé vers un lieu où elle sera en sécurité. Partagée entre ses peurs, des visions qu'elle ne comprend pas et forcée de rester aux côtés d'un homme qui ne répond à aucune de ses questions, c'est d'elle-même que Valentine devra trouver ses réponses.
