Chapter 1 New Feelings

Anora’s Pov

Anora woke up silently and pulled her sneakers on. Her mother and step dad were still passed out on the couch from drinking to much. And this is why she was leaving and never comeing back. She turned 18 last month but since her parents kept spending money on booz she has to walk on foot on leave quickly.

She opened her bedroom door and walked out into the hall. She then tiptoed to the stairs and descended down to the living room. She walked into the kitchen and started stuff like crackers, candy bars, small cans of cola, and lastly cheese sticks. She filled her water bottle with ice cooled water and went out of the front door and left that hell hole.

She walked until she reached town and saw the light posts shining in the night. The air was crisp and the cooled and was nipping at her cheeks. Anora gripped her back pack and started walking down the sidewalk. Her brunette hair glistened in the lights. She kept walking when suddenly something grabbed her arm and pulled into an alleyway. The figure pushed her into the wall and trapped her there. He towered over her and he wore a mask over his face. But his intense dark blue eyes searched her green hazel eyes. “Great,”she thought,”im here alone, my parents are probably coming to get me, and i might die right now”. Her mystery man that is actually pretty hot and cute just kept staring at her.

“Um, can i help you,”she asked breaking the silence. His eyes grew more intense and released his grip on her but still kept her trapped.

“Do you know you walked straight into a gang fight?” he finally said. His voice was deep and smooth. She shook her head no. He looked at her and placed a finger under her chin to make her look at him. “Well you did and almost got yourself killed. Next time watch where you’re going.”

He then let her go and she ran for life. Little did she know that that mystery man would be seen again. She just kept running until she couldn’t no more. She sat down on the curb and opened her back pack and took out her water bottle. She took a quick sip and placed it back in her bag. She got up and continued walking until she reached a motel.

She checked in,grabbed her key card, and went to the elevator. She reached her floor and looked for her room. Soon her parents would realize she left and start calling the cops. But she doesn’t give a damn. Who cares if she left? She had a reason to leave. She was sick and tired of her parents drinking and getting drunk. She opened her door and closed it. She flopped onto the bed and took her shoes off. Her first intention was to take a quick shower but she then decided to just sleep instead.
