1~A taste of the past
when i was 10 my village was attacked by soldiers, but not the kind i used to look up to and hear stories about. All of the soldiers were masked the kind of masks you wear when someone is sick. they looked like doctors. They came in floating ships made with metal and all the ships had the same little sighn on the left side they didn't take pity on the adults, they shot them with an electrifying gun , and took their unconscious bodies to the back of three big ships, i used to think they kept them alive like they did with the kids but i was wrong , they took their blood to perform a ritual for their leader , Esteban.
Esteban seems to believe our magical blood can be used to live forever , I'm not saying he's right but the blood he collected did keep him alive and young looking for over 100 years , after all our village wasn't the first to be attacked.
they were more than us.
even our magic didn't do much. they were looking for the kids , snatching them away from their parents and putting on each of us a bracelet, a very tight bracelet it blocked our magic. But what they were actually looking for was my sister , Emilia , Emmy for short. Emmy was chosen by the spirits of nature , only a few were picked by them. those who are chosen by the spirits get unique ability's and that makes their blood even more valuable ,we were each born with an element to us, the chosens get their element heightened . She was born to lead us into greatness or at least in our case freedom , but she couldn't learn from the masters because we were kind of kidnapped.
Well it has been five years since me and Koby my best friend managed to get her and him out and I'm guessing he did a pretty great job at running cause it's been a long time since they got out , i still did get kind of fucked because i helped the plan but I'm not dead yet so we're good.
