"This was an intense, emotional journey, with a powerful final message. I learned a lot, I cried a lot, and I've certainly come away feeling more educated. There's so much more I could say about this book, but I wanted to write review of this story without giving away any spoilers. So I'll just say that I recommend this story to anyone looking to explore the depths of the human condition and the impact that each generation has on the next. Brilliant in every way. 💜"
Engaging and moving
"It is divinely written and I love that there is the point of view of each of the two main characters, who live in the same family but have completely different experiences that will shape them both, but in different ways. A story that makes you think a lot about yourself and about humans, especially because of the author's autobiographical basis from which the plot is inspired. It is a story that gives you hope, a story of rebirth and redemption, and a quest for happiness through processing one's own past, discovering one's true self, and overcoming the traumas experienced , the search for happiness and the true love ❤️ Be prepared to experience really intense emotions with the two wonderful boys who are the protagonists of the story. I have read this book several times and highly recommend it. "

"This book is very well written, the story is about twin brothers, one has a normal teenage life with friends, plays ice hockey and thinks life is great, while the other twin is constantly abused by their father, beaten into keeping this abuse to himself, or else face severe consequences, too afraid to tell his best friend, and his twin brother about their father’s abuse towards him. This book is sad and emotional at times, but I recommend it highly to everyone to read.❤️"
