"The lore enriched history of Ethereal Island is as diffusive as its namesake; there is a natural instinctive pull that ripples -- which is felt in the interwoven narrative of simile and metaphor. It moves at a pace that invites and does not deters; it's pockmarked with mystery and intrigue, but also sliding through its bones, is something familiar - The Hunt. This is a predator teasing its prey; as lustfully as the author does their reader. The author does a masterful job in teasing tantalizing glimpses of what is sure to be an explosive cat-and-mouse between the intrepid Kyla and the mysterious cryptid that lingers at the fringe of metaphor and simile; and the exquisitely structured narrative. At the close of 3chapters, I was compulsively stabbing the next button: hungering for more!"
