"What an incredible story. More twists and turns and cliffhangers than a 3D maze. Saffie and Rae manage to overcome their horrific backgrounds together. A totally absorbing storyline that has evoked complaints from family trying to interact with me. I certainly shall look for more of your stories. Thank you."

"This story is by far one of my current favorites in my ever shifting list. Sometimes the wording gets repetitive and muddled, but what author doesnt suffer that with no editors team to comb through and highlight these things! Overall the pacing, flow and draw of the storyline kept me coming back for more. I was frustrated when it ended, when the story was closed. All my questions were answered, all my fears laid to rest, but the world created was so well done that I still yearn for more and THAT to me is the sign of a story well written. A story that drags you back because you want even the mundane questions answered. "

"This story was amazing from start to finish. The pacing was fantastic, the story was so unbelievably good and detailed. The characters drew me in like few other stories ever have. I loved every part of this, and my heart broke for both Rae and Saffie... If there's one thing to nitpick, the use of epithets drove me a little crazy. I wish the author would just use names, instead of "the twenty-two year old", "that boy" and "the bodyguard". But it's a minor thing in the scope of everything I enjoyed about this! "

"I hate it! I hate it!! This book was like a fist, a vampire's magical hand. It dug into my chest with claws so sharp and painful, grabbed my heart and wrung it mercilessly! I can't seem to stop my heart from going crazy I swear! Read this book people, read it! It'll take you places you've never been💖 On a different note, the writer wrote a lot of dialogue in Asian languages and I only understand (zhongwen) one Asian language. But maybe it's time I learn a new language, right! Love love love this piece, it's real art!!"

"It is a psychological novel with enough dark romance and suspense. Emotions are well portrayed. I feel for safee and Rae. Marcus, saffies grandparents the coach. Each characters was like I was feeling what they they thinking not as a whole or third party but the character as it self. Only con I felt is language as iam a non english speaker. Ot took me some time to grasp the way of story telling of the author. Different style but worth reader. Great work."

"I downloaded Inkitt specifically for this after coming across a reco from Reddit and, oh boy, no regrets! 10/10 great decision! Do you know how hard it is for me to find the trifecta of angst, suffering, and hurt/comfort BUT with a hard won happy ending?? I love me lots of pain but I also love love and this book just hit. the. spot. It’s like you wrote this for me omg. Thank you, this was wonderful and kept me well-fed for the week that it took me to finish. I had to re-read a lot of chapters in between because I was enjoying it so much. My only gripe is the ending which I found a little abrupt. I wanted more Saffie & Rae, more softness, more warm and fuzzies. Are we ever going to see more of these two together? Maybe a novella or an epilogue of sorts? I also have a few questions. In early chapters, why did Rae have a box of condoms if he wasn’t active? Was there confirmation of when Rae contracted the virus? It was mentioned that the ring had an engraving. What did it say? You are massively talented. Please keep writing!"
