The Picnic

In Hollowgrave, a tiny village embraced by nature’s beauty, eight friends prepared for a memorable picnic.

Sarah the great leader, Mike the mischief one, Emily the book lover, Daniel the sports fan,Luna the artist, Harris, who loves nature, Eva the wizard of cooking, and Ethan the music lover. They bought a basket full of different kinds of fruits and grilled sandwiches for each.

Daniel said I wanted to go on an adventure.

Harris said we could go on a tour.

Daniel happily said, Okay.

They were chit-chatting while eating. Ethen sang a song, and Luna painted a pretty painting. Sarah and Emily were reading a book, Mike and Daniel were playing, and Eva was cooking. Hours passed, and it rained. They opened up their umbrellas and chatted about the rain. The rain stopped, but six friends were missing. Sarah and Daniel realized they were alone in the middle of Hollowgrave.

They knew they had to find their missing friends before it was too late. Without wasting any time, they grabbed some supplies and set out to search for their friends. Sarah was so worried, and Daniel was confused. They saw footprints on the ground, and

Sarah said they were gone just now.

Let’s follow them. They entered a forest and saw lots of flora and fauna. In the woods, everything is humming. I turn and look up at the canopy, searching for the birds that are singing quietly. I walk on the dirt path ahead of me, feeling the crunch of outgrown roots, wildflowers, and fallen leaves beneath my feet as the sun pokes through the gaps in the ground. As they walked deeper into the forest,

they called out their friends’ names, hoping for a response. The silence was deafening, and the only sound they could hear was the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. Hours passed, and Sarah and Daniel started to lose hope. Just when they were about to give up, Sarah was so hungry, they ate a lot of friuts and berries, then they continued walking, and Daniel’s legs were killed.

Sarah said, “Okay, let’s open up the campfire,” and they were fast asleep.
