Fast-paced, action-packed, intriguing
"This story is full of twists and turns. It kind of reminded me of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan books with the intrigue and double crosses. Characters are flawed, no Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus, and this ads an additional layer to the story. The plot is unique and the world presented within is expansive! I have a hard time reading online, but this story kept me engaged and curious. There are no givens here, no predictability. It is a gritty war story of the survival of the human species and it takes itself seriously, justifiably so. Definitely a "must-read!" ETA: I just finished reading the book and it’s so worth the read! It does keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through. Excellent work!"

"So far this a good story lots action high tech scenario,space travel and a lot of humanity! I like this well put together.What I don't like the disappointment of not be ing able to read on .Seems I'm at the end of the last update, and too soon! Can't wait for more. Personally I prefer to start and finish a story at my pace. But I do understand I think from the writers perspective that life goes on and things happen. So great job Author and thanks for sharing what u have.(need more) Peace"
A solid and well told story
"This story brings back the nostalgic qualities of The War of the Worlds in such a refreshing way. It has a family torn apart but an alien attack with emotional scenes and high-stakes encounters. The storytelling is tight and fast-paced and has witty banter between characters and what is happening to them in the story. An added element that is a delight is that there is a second planet that the Humans own named Dottir, and it is very different with starships and has a different technological advancement level. The interactions and creativity in the space battles are surprising with intelligently strategic moments that make you feel elated when the humans have the advantage, and as well when the enemy gets the upper hand, it hits the mind in a manner that fills you with a dreadful feeling. The tension is exciting and well-told. The mystery of the origins of the human race on Dottir is gripping, leaving the reader asking for more and wanting to find out for themselves. A mysterious AI helps the crew and guides them to a mysterious place. Overall, this is worth a read if you like those things, and I suggest it. Keep up the excellent work. I look forward to reading more."
