"I found this story inspiring as it dealt with sexual purity. Though mistakes are made, the characters hold themselves to a high standard, admit their mistakes, and seek forgiveness from God. That's beautiful to see in a culture that often has an anything-goes attitude toward sex. I've never gotten into Amish literature, but I know lots of people do, so this could surely appeal to many. It's a great teen story as the lead characters are young and share a fun and innocent romance that is a pleasure to read about. There's ample conflict, drama, and suspense as bullies are introduced and the protagonist, Emma, tries to work up the courage to come clean about her past. The author has a clean and professional writing style, as well as excellent use of grammar. "
