"I didn't think I would like this story when I started reading it. Alice in Wonderland is my absolute least favorite fantasy story. I have thought that Lewis Carroll was on some 19th century version of LSD when he wrote it. I was pleasantly surprised by the time I got into the story. I enjoyed the interaction between Sebastian and Lily. It was fun to read. My only criticism comes from you not being that familiar with the world of Love, Lies and Hocus Pocus. You had Sebastian doing a couple of things that only a wizard could do, but he is not a wizard. Your technical skill is quite good. Toward the end of the story, however, there were a few mistakes that were not caught by proofreading or editing. You called Lily "Lucy" once. These errors didn't detract too much from the story. You just need to be more careful when editing. Thank you for your entry for this contest. I would vote for this story if it was up to me."
