Chapter 1

Kimberly's point of view:

Me and Mike are walking around town it's about ten PM in Dark Oak. Everyone is probably asleep by now. I think to myself as the trees sway back and forth.

"It's so quiet..." Mike says looking around to see if anyones awake.

"It's ten PM, Mike. Of course it's gonna be quiet."

"You're right, Kim... Anyways, have you ever thought about something..."

He pauses for a moment.

"Like if we we're just in a simulation and nothings real...?"

"We're not in a simulation. This is the real world, Mike."

We continue walking until we hear a strange noises like screams of terror and horror. We stop dead in our tracks.

"What was that...?" I say, stepping back a bit.

"Sounded like screaming..."

We step back some more until we hit a tree that randomly just grew behind us.

"Does someone know we're awake...?" Mike says grasping my hand.

"Maybe..." I hold his hand tightly.

"We should go back to our house..." Mike says clearly frightened.

"I agree..."

We start walking and trees grow randomly around us traping us into the trees hold.

"What is happening...?" I say confused and frightened.

"I have no clue..."

We're both scared for our lives because trees just randomly grew around us and captured us like a police officer with an escaped prisoner.

The trees continue grow in to cage us  and to not let us out.
