Tempest Sea
My soft gentle waves hug warmly like the sun
Shine kissing your skin with whispering hums
I carry you with grace on a calm surface sea
Men search to experience the awe that is me
They hear of my voice and the mist of my love
Professing their claim like connoisseurs of
Mastering my depth and the treasures unfound
The roars you hear are warning sounds
So many times, confused by my comfort
And the mellowness that I provide
Is only what I choose to give unless said otherwise
Oil, killing me, attempts at my demise
It is time the meet the one you want
But it's only a disguise.
You pollute my body and my mind, taking me for a fool
Golds not worth a thing to me, it's your soul that is the jewel
The shores are calm and subtle to those
Who come in peace and not to oppose
Crushing.
The waves?
No. The sounds of your bones.
And thousands more like you, claiming me as your home.
You are merely a visitor I humbly accepted
Your greed has brought you to the depths of deception.
Obsessed with my beauty and the vast unknown
Your demise is yours, all on your own.
My whispers seduced you, resulting in your soul
Together Forever is a story thats been told
Not like Romeo and Juliet,
But more like Jack and Rose.
He claimed to love her, oh, so much
But she lay there as he froze.
Again, you came for me you see,
It is not I who came for you.
Your need to conquer came at a price
And it is time to pay your dues
I will swallow you whole but not before,
I play with you like a cat
Tossing and crushing you more and more
until your skull eventually cracks.
Welcome home, my adventurer
Where you always wanted to be.
Deep in the belly of a tempestuous sea
