Love the set up

"- excellent characters, good intrigue around their pasts - interesting premise - the dialogue and set up of the secret service feels very British/ maybe Interpol but there are Americanisms like HOA used - maybe that's just me reading as a Brit - what is the time period? Is this set in the present or a little further in the past like the 2000s"
