"A striking depiction of the hedonism and nihilism of the 1990s. I especially liked the vivid descriptions of sweaty gigs and wild after-show parties. There are sweet, tender moments, but also plenty of gritty realism. The flashbacks explaining the main character’s past are handled well. Coincidentally, the cover is similar to that of my book. I guess great minds…"

"Beautifully written. The writing style is almost like poetry. Unique plot that I don't feel like I can predict and I've read ALOT of books. Very emotional and sensory. I feel so bad for her, I hope everything gets better for her, but something tells me we are not going to get a happy ending. I love that this is set in the '90s. Best decade! There seems to be a formatting issue sometimes between chapter breaks, but it wasn't too distracting. Can't wait to read more."

"The author does an amazing job at painting a picture of the scene. You can hear, smell and see everything as she describes them. I love the way she explains the emotions as well."
