Author’s Note to My Readers on Inkitt
Dear Readers,
You may notice that the beginning of King Maximilianus has changed—and I wanted to share the reason why.
After receiving both thoughtful and enthusiastic reviews on NetGalley, I took time to reflect on some of the feedback. One particular reader mentioned that the 700-year time span felt a bit rushed, and they wished it had been explored more fully instead of summarized in one chapter. That comment sparked something in me—and I realized they were right.
The Boksis, who are truly the catalyst of everything that unfolds, deserved more space at the beginning. So, I reworked the opening chapters to bring their story to life more vividly. You’ll now find deeper context, richer layers, and more magic threaded through those early pages.
We’ve made edits and enhancements throughout, based on valuable feedback, while still keeping true to the heart of the story.
If you’re curious about my thoughts on the reviews or want to connect more personally, feel free to check out my Facebook page. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this new version of King Maximilianus—a story reborn with even more love, mystery, and purpose.
With gratitude,
Stavellie Salomon
