Ring, Ring...

I stared at the girl in front of me. She had long, curly black hair, the most beautiful green eyes, and the most kissable of lips. The sunlight bounced off of her pale white skin, almost as white as snow. She began walking towards me and wrapped her long fingers around my silvery-blonde hair, she leaned towards me, pursing her lips and closing her eyes, I leaned into her and- RING, RING, RING!

I woke up with a start, sitting up in my bed. My hair was matted to my forehead with sweat and my clothes felt all too hot. I sighed, recollecting the events of my dream before standing up. I swear it was every night I got so close, just to be woken up. I walked over to my closet, threw open the door, and rifled through the clothes. I grabbed a baby blue hoodie and a pair of dark blue jeans.

I pulled the hoodie over my head and put on my jeans, I closed the closet door and walked over to the bathroom. I grabbed my toothbrush and squeezed a glob of toothpaste onto the bristles. I started brushing my teeth while deep in thought. I wonder what Jasmine really thought of me...or how she'd react if she knew about the dreams I'd been having of her. Every time I see her it's like she lit the flame in my chest, melting down my walls until they cave.

My brother's sudden banging on the door brought me out of my thoughts, "Bre! Hurry up in there!" I swished some water in my mouth and spat it out, "One moment!" I hurriedly ran water over my toothbrush and put it in the medicine cabinet. I unlocked the bathroom door and walked out while my brother rammed past me. I rolled my eyes and went back to my room, slipping on my socks and shoes before grabbing my backpack.

I ran downstairs and took my phone off charge before going to the kitchen, grabbing a piece of toast my mother had put out for me and shoving it in my mouth. I grabbed my car keys and hurried out the front door, not bothering to lock it behind me. I rushed out to my car and fumbled with the lock until it opened, I tossed my backpack into the passenger seat and put the keys in the ignition as my car roared to life.

The car made a few grinding noises and a small popping sound before the engine sounded normal. I was driving around my dad's old rustbucket of a G6, but at least it was something. I pulled out my phone after buckling my seatbelt, I opened my messages with Jasmine and shot her a text, 'omw to pick u up now. B ready.' I put my phone back in my pocket and started to pull out of the driveway.

I pulled out of the driveway and drove down the street, making my way to Jasmine's house. When I pulled up in front of her house she was already outside, she skipped over to my car and opened the door, she shoved my backpack aside and sat down. "Thanks for the ride." "Mhm," I started to drive out of her neighborhood, sitting in silence with her.

I reached over and turned on the radio and pop music came blasting through the car's speakers. I pulled up to the school's student parking in no time and Jasmine got out of the car. I turned off the car and got out, my keys jingling from my finger. I went around and grabbed my backpack. I swung my backpack around my shoulder and locked the car.

I looked ahead and saw that Jasmine had already gotten pretty far ahead, I quickly caught up with her. "We have Math today, right?" She nodded and I bit my lip slightly, I wish she'd be less invested in her phone and actually talk to me. She suddenly looked at me, "Hey Bre, wanna have a sleepover at my place? Jamie will be there." I grinned as I answered her.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
