Beginning And End
Light blue walls with white furniture with a wall full of books describe my room the best. In the middle of the wall of books, I have a chair in which I have cried my eyes out and laughed my loudest when reading my books. My house is vine red on the inside in exception for the bathroom and my room.
My mother loves the color of vine red so when she was asked what color she wanted for the house, she picked vine red but had the decency to pick a soft brown for the exterior of the house. Since we share a bathroom in the house, we had to pick the color that we both agreed on and ended up with a soft brown with green designs here and there.
If you were ever to walk into our house all that you would smell would be the years of cooking classes my mother has taken and is putting them into practice. I must say that I love her cooking no matter how much I complain about the fire alarms going off all the time because of the amount of food she cooks all the time. Because of the fire alarms going off at least three times a week, we have a firefighter that has our house assigned to him as his main priority making him a great friend of ours.
This house would be the cleanest you will find in the whole town because my mom is OCD so she has to have everything the in order at all times. Me growing up with my OCD mom made me make sure everything was cleaned or I would have to deal with a very angry mother. I am actually surprised how clean and organized the kitchen is all the time seeing as she cooks and lives in that kitchen.
My cat, Martin, will probably be the last thing you see because it died when I was 8. But you will have high chances of meeting my cat, Pin, a white cat with gray eyes that wanders around the house. My mother’s job is on her computer and she is a mini-boss making sure to keep the bakeries of her boss on the lead and the best satisfaction out there.
People often think that I am my mother’s sister because we look like twins born at different times because of age. We have the same pale skin with black hair and gray eyes. My mother and I have a great relationship to the point to where she is my best friend and share weird stories that happen in our lives bringing us closer together with every story time.
Now my father is a different story because he left before I was born making my mom take both roles making her an even bigger model for me. My mom has told me so many stories of him that make me feel like I know him but I am now 17 making the stories that my mother told history. People change all the time and I believe that he changed when he left me and became someone different than the love stories my mom tells.
I am currently running to the library to study for my college work. I was apparently smart enough to skip grade levels making me graduate high school at the age of 15. College gave me free small classes for me to take a break for a while because they thought that I was too small and unprepared to go to college making them accept me a year later when I was 17 when they saw how good I was doing.
Seating down at one of the colorful tables I take out my materials and start going over my notes and making small notes to the sides in case a project or test comes up making easier for me to go over it. I double check my planner making sure that I have no work to do nodding when I see that all the work that was due was done. I put all the things back in my backpack and take out the book I was reading, determined to finish by tonight.
Hearing someone sit in the seat in front of me, I look up to see a blue shirt and leather jacket on a handsome guy staring at me with green eyes. I smile and say a small hi then look down at my book and keep reading. As I continue reading I could feel him staring at me making it harder for me to concentrate on the book’s events.
“How can I help you?” Amusement is the only thing in his eyes when I ask a simple question after closing my book.
“With nothing really expect a name and number” Winking at me. I look at him weirdly and tell him the name of the main character of the book and my favorite number.
“Mh, Marianie and 22” He looks at me up and down again and frowns.
“So you are 22?” laughing I shake my head.
“You asked for a name and number, so I gave you one” Laughing I explain seeing him go from lost to understating in a minute.
“Well, aren’t you smart” Do I know him? Tilting my head to the left I try to see if I have him in any of my classes only to come up empty-handed. Shrugging.
“Just because I am in college at the age of 17 does not make me that smart” I look down to my book deciding to finish it at home and put it in my backpack.
“So you are 17, and you attend college?” Surprised would be an understatement of how he felt when he heard such a small but important information come from her.
“Yup, you heard loud and clear” She was grabbing her back making him nervous and sad that she was leaving.
“Will you be here tomorrow?” He already knew that she came to the library at 5 pm every day, because he loved watching her read and the emotions that she displayed when reading.
“Why yes, I will be here. Why did you ask?” She was now standing next to the table looking down at him.
“Because I want to see you again. Can you stay a little longer and give me a chance to get to know you?” He felt really nervous but proud that he was able to say such words to the girl in the side ponytail that he has been watching from afar for a while.
“Sure. I don’t see a reason why not” Putting her bag down next to her she sat looking at him with wide gray eyes, head tilted to the left waiting for a question.
After realizing that she was waiting for him to talk he cleared his throat he asked away. Both listened to each other closely and talked to provide more information about each other.
They learned each other’s favorite color, food, animal, book, and so on. They learned that He was in his last year in high school with 2 months left of school and that her semester ended at the same week but not day. She learned that he loved to dance but that none of his friends knew because they would make fun of him because he was the “bad boy” of the school.
At the end, the library had to close making them say goodnight to each other while walking home with a smile.
He had to admit that it was weird for him to watch her from afar and not say anything because of nervousness for so long. He had many times played scenarios of how it would go if he talked to her but never expected her to be so kind and have a slice of a british accent. At the end, it was worth coming for a project and stumbling on an angel-like human that he now knew as Shellnion.
As the days when by a month had been added making their friendship grown as well as mother and daughter gossip from work and Shellnion’s love life. Talor, as Shellion now knew his name, knew that she had to study first and until finished be able to talk. He would often ask her to read for him out loud while he rested his head on her lap staring at her read and make comments when he saw something interesting in her book.
Month and a half had passed and he had met her mother as well as her cat, Pit. They were happy and content, but he was finishing high school while she was finishing her first semester in college. They both became busy and changed plans or passed smaller times together.
As time when on he got letters from numerous colleges and universities because of his grades and dancing talents. He picked the one he thought best for his dancing career and it ended up being across the world making him leave his family and friends and the angel he had found.
Years had passed and she was smarter than before, learning new things every day. She was a software architect and business manager for her software company named Elias. She was the big boss and helped around instead of letting her workers do all the work. She was always up and around helping people because of her big heart. Because of this, she became a foster parent teaching her foster children of the good things in life and the fantasies in books.
Talor, The leather jacket boy had become the most respected dancer in the globe making him busy with tours around the world. He had a savings account that was overflowing with money and had anything he wanted in the world.
She when back to the house of her mother for a visit and went to the library to remember some of the weirdest memories she had. As she walked to the teen section for her son, she explained and told him of the numerous of stories this library. Talor was visiting his mother when he passed the library. He then went back and got inside the library heading straight to the teen's section. He was hoping to find her there. Somewhere in his mind, he expected her there alone reading a book with her purple bag next to her but he did not see that.
He instead saw a mother and a son talking together in a table that his angel used to sit at.
Looking up Shellion saw Talor and ran to hug him. She still recognized him because he had the same haircut and had a leather jacket with the same blazing green eyes. He was shocked that the mother ran to hug him and even more shocked to see who hugged him. He looked down at her and grinned but that turned into a frown when he remembers the kid.
Looking to where he was looking at, she smiled at her son and pulled both of them to a seat and she started to tell him everything that happened as well as explaining her son who he meets him. But at the end of all of it, he kissed her, promising a bright future for the three of them and the much more to come. She then knew that love came in different shapes and sizes throught life.
