What is your opinion?

Fantastic story

"I found your story very well thought out. I loved all the suspense and twists. It is certainly a well deserved win from the contest. Your character development of Daisy was beautiful and thought provoking. I love that Kip had to make nice with a dog. And Pip! You could write a whole other story about Kip and Daisy getting their “revenge“ as it were. I did enjoy that Pip did help them. Anyway, I truly loved your story and you did well with Lydia’s characters. "

LSFC: Ties that Bind, Paws that Find

"I like the LLHP series but I’m really a dog lover. This story with a dog as the protagonist is right up my alley!! I would love to read more by this author, set either in the LLHP universe or a similar one with a dog and person team like Lily and Kip. I think Daisy is a great character!"

Excellent Sir Kipling

"It was fun to read a Sir Kip story. Daisy is a well thought out character. Involving Pip was a nice touch. Willing to see where this goes from here. "

Superior Cat and Sweet Dog - a great combination

"This was a really cute addition to the LSFC world. I totally loved the interpretation of Sir Edgar Allen Kipling - it was purr-fict! I definitely heard the true voice of Sir Kipling in this story. The author didn't add or take away from the character at all. The inclusion of Daisy, who had an impressive pedigree herself, was fantastic. The development of the relationship between Sir Kip and Daisy was believable and adding Pip into the mix added another layer of fun to this story. I would read more of this author's work. "

Deeecent

"There was good suspense throughout the story. The progression of Daisy and Sir Kipling going from enemies to friends was believable and well-done, and then end was satisfying! Some of your best work and I hope you win!! "

Enjoyable Story

"I really enjoyed this story. Sir Kip was portrayed very much as he has appeared in the LLHP series. I can say I was surprised by the appearance of Pip and she was well portrayed also. Partnering up with a dog was quite an experience for Kip and I could see possibilities for future stories from this line of thought. All told, I couldn't put it down until I was finished reading the story."

Page Turner

"OK, Lydia Sherrer, who wrote the original Love Lies and Hocus Pocus series, you need to see this published as a novella-even reading online which I hate, I'm really a paper book person. And a cat person, but introducing the talents of a dog and having Sir Kipling and Daisy communicate was really a fun read."

Well-written stories with animals teaming up to save the day are always welcome

"There are too many elements of this story that I enjoyed to include them all in a review. I will mention a few: first, Sir Kipling is and perhaps always will be my favorite character, and I love it when other animal characters also get roles in plots related to this series. Second, the story was so engrossing I could not put it down, and I read it from start to finish. The style was right on target. Third, the story created a crisis only part of which was resolved, leaving us wanting more. This is a great strategy and one often used by Lydia in this series of novels. Thank you for this welcome (if unexpected) addition to the Lily Singer series!"

Author Learned from Master

"This had the flavor of the Lily stories while leaving clues for another story. Obviously she has read all of the Lily books. I liked the addition of a dog with Sir Kipling. Perhaps Daisy might show up in future Lily tales or get her own series when she gets the super power of speech and understanding. Stories such as these take ones mind from the real world. "
