Chapter 1- •°Princess Serena°•♥︎
King Alitar and Queen Elaine were the rulers of the Solaria Kingdom. They were known to be the most powerful and respected leaders. But at heart, they are insanely in love with one another and care for each other, despite being an arranged marriage. Recently, Queen Elaine gave birth to her third child… who they called... Serena. She was holding her in her arms, sweaty and tired as she looked at Serena with adoration. Her two sons, Eres & Sirus, were on her shoulder, looking to Serena with wide blue eyes. And Alitar smiled at his wife with love. "You did well, my love." Alitar kisses his wife's forehead, making her chuckled and rocked Serena gently before looking up at Eres & sirus. "Do you want to hold your babysitter?" Elaine smiled softly at her sons. Eres immediately jumped up at the opportunity, nodding Frantically. "Careful, support her head, Eres.." Elaine guided Eres on how to hold the newborn. Serena stirred in Eres arms but quickly went back to sleep. Elaine smiled as Eres had a huge smile on his face. Queen Elaine sighed lovingly as Eres held his little sister, Sirus, then came forward, looking a little unsure and nervous. He took the newborn in his arms, being careful about her and holding onto her tightly. Queen Elaine chuckled as she said to Sirus.
"Good job, Sirus. You're doing well."
Sirus seemed a bit more confident after that. Seeing her young sons bonding with their baby sister made their mother smile. While Eres and Sirus held their sister, Alitar walked over to Elaine and wrapped his arms around her from behind. He held Elaine close and rubbed her back comfortingly. "You did fantastic, my love. I'm so proud of you."
Elaine smiled at him and placed her hands on his. "Our family is growing," she said softly. Alitar nodded, grinning. "We have a beautiful daughter." Alitar kissed Elaine's cheek and brushed a strand of her hair away. "And our boys already love their little sister." With the boys bonding with their sibling, the happy royals couldn't help but feel complete. They had a beautiful family.
The next day, Queen Elaine woke up, her face full of happiness as she looked around at her husband sleeping next to her. She yawned as she climbed out of bed, carefully picking up Serena and leaving her bedroom, making her way to the nursery. She smiled as she entered the room where her sons were already playing with their nanny. Eres was giggling and laughing while playing with a toy, while Sirus was watching him and looking a little out of place. The nanny looked up, and the moment she saw Queen Elaine holding Serena, she smiled widely, happy for the princess. Queen Elaine held her child close to her as she walked over to the nanny. “Good morning,” Queen Elaine said softly as she gently kissed her daughter’s forehead. “Did everyone here sleep well?” “Yes, my queen,” the nanny replied, smiling..“The boys have been playing with their toys. Eres is in a very cheerful mood today,” she said as she watched Eres laughing and giggling. Eres noticed his mother and started pointing at her, while Sirus was still looking out of place. Sirus was still uneasy about having another sibling.
He was so used to being the youngest he was kinda upset about a younger sister. Queen Elaine smiled as Eres came rushing up to her, giggling excitedly. “Mama!” Eres said happily as he reached her and reached out his hands, wanting to be picked up. Queen Elaine laughed and hugged Eres closely, kissing his forehead. Eres giggled happily as he was held by his mother. Sirus came up next to his older brother, but he still looked out of place and nervous. Elaine arches a brow at her youngest son. "Sirus? Are you alright?" Elaine looked concerned about her sons behavior. Sirus frowned, Seeing his mother’s concerned look, Sirus tried to smile. “I’m…. fine,” he said shakily as he looked down. Queen Elaine could tell that Sirus was struggling with having another sibling. “Are you upset about having a baby sister?” her asked her youngest son. Sirus nodded slightly as he looked down. “Yeah…” he said softly as he hugged his arms around his body. “Are you afraid that I’ll love her more than I love you?” Elaine asked, her voice full of kindness. Sirus’s throat tightened as he thought about his mother loving his sister more than him. He was too scared to speak, but he managed to barely nod. “Oh, darling,” Elaine said softly as she hugged Sirus. “You know that’s not true, don’t you?” Elaine smiled sympathetically at Sirus, gently brushing his hair from his eyes. “I’ll always love you no matter what,” she said reassuringly. Sirus slowly nodded, but he still looked sad and a little scared. Elaine was concerned for her youngest son and wanted to make him feel better. She held Sirus tightly against her body, gently rocking him back and forth. “Just because there’s another baby in the family doesn’t mean we won’t spend time together,” she said softly to Sirus, trying to reassure him. “We’ll still have special time together, do you understand?” Sirus nodded slightly as he looked up at his mother. “I promise you that no matter what happens, I will always love you,” she said lovingly.
